"Hackers" (Read: Devs) occasionally do games like this, where they'll use devcodes to spawn in an up n coming WIP item as a form of controlled Leak. This is the Emancipator, just like the other "alternative" mech from the first game, it replaces the Launcher/Minigun setup with Dual Autocannons. They really are just legit wholeass Autocannons, statistically. At least that's how it was in the first game. Here it's hard to say, it looks like they've got a bit more oomph than a standard AC here. Also looks broke as fuck, but it is WIP so it's prolly gonna be tuned before actual release.

Nice, I thought it was a hacker at first but this makes sense. Ive heard about Devs jumping in games to even test things out. Thanks for the heads up!

It's very likely it was a "hacker" and not a dev. All this stuff is in the game files already, and all you need is a way to make them selectable in your loadouts. A while ago there was a mod on Nexus that swapped a few stratagems with unreleased ones, namely the Commando, both exosuits, APC, Buggy and the wall fortification with the GL.

If I remember correctly, this seems to be the second game's version of the 'Obsidian' from the first.

I think he did because when I took over his emancipator my emancipator ran out of ammo quicker than his and I also blew up faster.
