Oh yeah, the Shadow Chamber. One of the most helpful upgrades late game. I’d say as a complimentary upgrade, add a percentage of how often each enemy is going to be in that mission. Say, 50% likely for Bile Spewers. 65% for Pouncers, 40% Hive Guards

Tenderizer should just be called Tenderized. It needs to go back in the oven. Whoever designed it didn't look at it next to the base liberator. I bet that stalker left with him in the extraction ship and it's still hunting him.

ARs need more armor pen to be useful. Youre sacrificing dmg output for range but its not enough dmg output to handle really anything effectively. They need a rework. If a gun cant handle medium targets effectively, it needs knockback or crazy dmg output against light targets in order to handle bugs, Punisher, Incindieary breaker, and scorcher is about the only guns that are useful. New smg does stunlock targets but doesnt have any knockback and doesnt do enough dmg to be ammo efficient. Punisher hits harder, knocks back bugs, AND stun locks stalkers. new smg takes nearly a whole mag to kill a stalker.

The problem is it's all kind of a mess. You give ARs decent damage and armor pen and then theres no reason for marksman rifles.. the problem is there aee too many similar guns already so the end up encroaching on each others territory when they buff them

The current state of the game has the most viable primary weapons it has ever had. == Anecdotes == Ran Helldive yesterday and we had a team (full-clear) with Arc Bltizer, Sickle, Breaker Incendiary, and Explosive Crossbow. Successful defend High-Value (Helldive): Sickle, Eruptor, Breaker Incendiary, Adjudicator. Though how you manage your strategems is more important for this mission type. == Gun Talk== AR's need more love outside the Sickle but the idea that the game is just ruined is so overplayed now. All shotguns are viable, with some clear standouts; Breaker is on the edge IMO. All Marksmen Rifles are viable. Most energy weapons are viable (I hear Scythe is viable against bots now but haven't tried). SMG's: We now have 2/3 that are really good. And a BRRRRRRT gun for fun. Explosive: Devs admitted Eruptor "fix" isn't the result they intended and will fix it. Dominator is good. Crossbow, I haven't played with it but the guy who ran it was our carry for that mission. AR: Adjudicator has solid medium killing ability. Lib-Concussive is for really niche teamplay styles. The rest are meh.

@@ninjacowI would disagree I think when the last warbond came out and they first buffed fire damage was the best version of primary weapons. You could actually have fun with most weapons. The slugger was goated, the erupter made it so I could use the stalwart Etc. none of the primaries were ever OP imo they just actually did what they were supposed to do. Unlike the rest of the options at the time. The erupter was balanced imo because of the rate of fire and suicide potential. It opened the game up more making it actually viable to bring a machine gun.

I'm pretty sure they forgot to update the Tenderizer's stats after they buffed the Liberator's damage, but even then, five damage per round at a sacrifice of fifteen rounds per magazine wouldn't have been worth it. Hell, even if it had 80 like the Adjudicator, I'm not sure there would be a reason to take it over the Liberator, because it's not as if that will consistently one-shot trash without hitting weak points.

They should delay any new warbonds. The game is still quiet unstable and full of bugs and glitches and they need to fix that first of all. I don't use the ARs at all because they seem rather weak and you have to reload every 5 seconds. Give me an AR with a 100 rounds drum magazin and an underslung gl and I might use it.

All the assault rifles need much larger magazines. Reloading after every handful of enemies killed is the issue. Sickle feels great because you can mag dump many enemies. Shotguns feel great because you can mag dump many enemies. It's not a complicated issue at all. Add 15 rounds to the assault rifles and maybe 10 to the adjudicator. Lib concussive and the tenderizer need further adjustments.

A really underrated strategem is the hmg emplacement. It has medium (5) armour penetration and unrivaled damage. It has a short cool down so you just pop it down on every bug breach and it destroys trash and is the best option in the game to deal with spewers. Think of it like two full auto anti material rifles with 400 bullets. The ammo always last practically the whole bug breach so it really is super strong. Some tips if you are interested: Its armour penetration allows it to take out shrieker nests and spore spewers. It needs about 20 seconds for all three nests and it can be done from any range so it is the fastest and easiest method I can think of. Small bugs seem to struggle to target you while mounting the gun. They just stand around the gun looking at you. This means you are safe to target commanders and spewers first, and then mop up all the hunters surrounding you last. The hmg emplacement can not penetrate heavy armour (6), and gets one shot by chargers and bile titans. Running the qasar and maybe stuns allow you to quickly jump off, kill chargers and jump back on. The hmg emplacement can also destroy the green sacks on the BTs belly very fast. Finally, one must recognize that the player is what is valuable, and the weapon is just a tool. Sometimes the situation is to bad for you to get anything out of the stratagem, and then you must leave it behind even with full ammo. Hope that helps:)

I am now at the point in my solo play journey where I can survive on helldiver but I don't get anything done hardly at all. I can keep my spacing good and I think I clear mobs at a pretty decent rate but they are always so overwhelming at any missions obj or POIs. Im trying to figure out the secret sauce here lol. I've made a ton of progress though, thanks to a lot of the tips and tricks from these videos.

Agree 100%. Bots almost all have quick kill methods that allow you to kill faster then more come if you're skilled. Bugs all have lots of hp and even if you shoot their weak points take time and ammo to kill (brood commanders and bile spewers). They also force you to move more increasing the likelihood of running into another patrol.

Yeah it's definitely bugs. Bots stop and shoot at you from a distance, and their flare is super obvious. So if you fail to kill them all in time to prevent a call in, it's much easier to just fucking leave.

Pummeler seems decent yeah. Is basically a clone of the existing SMG (which lots of people like), but trading a tiny bit of DPS for much better stagger, which is generally a good trade. It's nice having a Stalker sneak right up on you, only to stun-lock it to death and come out unharmed. Generally for bugs I would still much rather have an Incendiary Breaker, but that's just because it's over performing right now due to how much burn damage got buffed.

The BR-14 Adjudicator kind of fills that high-damage, high-recoil spot you mentioned, and it's medium armor penetrating, if you wanted to try it out. Unfortunately, it has a smaller clip size and small number of clips, so it probably isn't particularly good against bugs.

The tenderizer is basically the liberator, but with 40 RPM and 10 rounds per mag traded for 5 less recoil. Its not useless vs bots cause its accurate and high damage, but it kinda needs a bit more damage to be worth it.

Bike spewer worlds are for the autocannon crowd. It pops heads or bile sacks very easily and is a quick relief. Can also kill chargers quickly with good aim

Impacts are definitely the best for spewers, but expensive and risk friendly fire. Senator can kill them in 5-6 hits to the face, while flinching and causing them to miss. This is easiest to slot into builds without much commitment, and a great utility vs hive guards & brood commanders anyway. HMG is actually great for them as well, a burst of I think just 3 bullets is enough on the face. Grenade launcher also 2 taps the sack. And of course, for a primary option, the dominator.

I like the feel of the new weapons on the lower levels, they’re fun for taking down the small guys. For anything heavier than medium enemies though it feels like none of the new weapons do much. Yeah, you get stagger with the pummeler but it still doesn’t have the damage or armor pen for handling more than a single heavy at a time. Hoping for some new heavier weapons or maybe even stratagems soon.

Personally I wouldn't bring this against bugs but against automatons it isn't bad. Recoil is the best attribute it has over the liberator variants and I find its very easy to headshot devastators using the Tenderizer with only a negligible loss in rate of fire for dealing with light units.

I tested very briefly at my lunch time. The ergonomics are very good and feel good while shooting. But, like Takibo said, AR are the lowest tier of weapons in this game. The best AR is the Sickle. By comparison you can fire it for 9s and the Tenderizer for 4s. And with a better damage output. By that alone, there is no logic to use the Tenderizer if you have the Sickle.

But if you're a Breaker kind of gunner, no AR will ever feel good to you. You gotta kind of feel it, you know? I'm an AR kind of guy, but then, I was also a pre-buff AMR kind of guy. It's not everyone's cup of tea. I do wish all ARs had slightly more armor penetration, even if at short range, but I think they perform their function.

With the magazine of 35rounds, the Tenderizer could have done with higher base damage or the ability to penetrate medium armour. But I do like how it sounds

Honestly I've been using the liberator a bit recently and just by eye test, I think it kills faster than the tenderizer. Seems like you trade fire rate or damage for more mags, but I don't know the numbers so I could be completely wrong

Where Assault rifles in this game shine best is group play. The ability to help a distant ally with fire support is amazing, and 2 guns will always outdamage one gun. As long as that one gun isn't an Autocannon or Grenade Launcher.

So far, between the SMG and the tenderizer for this warbond. I prefer the SMG more, concussion is pretty good for bugs. The tenderizer is just another liberator for me at least

Yes,on PlayStation, the frame drop during meteor storms. It’s actually to the point where I avoid planets that have the effect.

I guess it was „designed“ before the Liberator Buff (⬆️60dmg) and was meant to be more powerful in comparison to the Liberator.

Contrary to what people have been saying, the tenderizer is on par with the liberator. The problem is the baseline (liberator) needs to be raised further.

Liberator Pen with 45 round mag would be a useable rifle, on par with a Breaker close quarters and better for medium armored bugs 50m +.

Pummeler is not too bad, been testing it with shield against bots and as far as I'm concerned its a direct upgrade since I tap fire smg most of the time anyway.

I think you'll need to compare the new booster to the old muscle enhancement to really see what difference it makes, I'm not sure it does much better if at all.

You were slowed quite a few times by those little acid spitters, at least 1 hunter and bile warriors. This map had thankfully few hunters and honestly it was your skill that avoided most slowing attacks. I'm not sure if that booster is doing what it says it's supposed to do.

I was just thinking about how they're gonna be putting out a new bond every month and the games gonna have a life cycle of over 5 years id guess so thats a shit load of guns there gonna have to make, idk how their gonna do it without having a bunch of similar weapons. 🤷♂️

After new patch my frames started dropping HARD on 7 with not allowing infinite breach loops, before patch never felt frames dropping no matter what was happening on the screen even with infinite loops on 9. So far has been happening only on missions with bile spewers

Used the Tenderizer when the Warbond came out, gun sounds nice, looks like a Battle Rifle, but acts like an 25% easier to handle Liberator with less damage, ammo, and fire rate. I took a look at the ejected casings which looked like a slightly larger caliber than 5.56, like what the Liberator seems to use, and also no medium pen, rip. Overall, gun feels cool, but delivers kinda poorly. Pummeler is just a better Liberator Concussive, that's it. It has 3 stats better the Lib Concuss when comparing. Incen 'nades and Incen Impacts are pretty much for those who wanna deal and run, and those who don't feel like waiting on a grenade fuse. Personally? Impacts dope af. I ran out on medals before I could even touch page 3 after making this post, so don't expect me knowing what the Purifier, and the Sub-Deagle feels like. Hope weapon modulation comes out relatively soon, cause some of these weapons need either drum mags, or better ammo.

So as per usual with the warbonds, Two of them are literally just meh (i have not tested the new PLAS weapon or sidearm, but im hoping it will be fun. also i really love the impact incendiary, i can throw hot flames everywhere.

There is a lack of medium penatration assault rifles, this could have been one of them. (Or have an insanely high fire rate like the knight SMG)
