There are quite a few players who seem to dismiss the idea of AT mines as being useful.

You know, I never thought about that last part. I just killed 42 bugs without really trying. So that makes sense.

@@bluepirate04 I shot a hellbomb and took out 56 bugs. 1 bullet filled with Democracy takes out almost 60 bugs. I did the same thing with bots and got 13.

I usually get 160-200 kills per mission against the bots, and around 180-300 against bugs. We should have been able to finish this mission in about 2 days assuming only 100k players fought the bots.

It didn’t help that at any given time, 20-30% of divers were fighting bugs instead of bots. 😒

I mean, the lore of Super Earth is that an AI votes for us. It wouldn't surprise me that AI would be "volunteering" humans for "conscription" for a conflict to preserve themselves that can easily be resolved with unlimited and uncontrolled 380mm bombardments to planets. It also brings me back to my conundrum of who makes it to be a Helldiver? There's the super destroyer captain, the weapon tech, the democracy officer, Eagle-1, and Pelican-1......But they're not Helldivers. They're "almost a helldiver". Are they the ones incapable of passing some basic test to be a helldiver, because the weapons officer makes it sound like it's every super earth citizen's dream to be one. Or are they the smart ones that tested out from being charger fodder? I honestly do not know and it slightly bothers me that there's this paradox in the lore. Are helldivers the SpecOps indisputable peak in the game or are they the most over hyped pawn? Both seem plausible!!!!

AH said they will adjust the order scaling over the long term to accommodate changes in the player base size. The thing is we aren't always supposed to win so there is the back and forth of the war and we aren't steamrolling everything. Obviously we took a huge hit recently though they should adjust to match player count and capability every so often.

I think if they really want to balance it they have to decrease the health/damage resistance of the devestators and brood commanders. Complete bullet sponges for primaries and support weapons.

I ran into a few bugs last night. Could not complete any surveys because the survey drops turned into question marks. As for weapon and armor bug/nerfs, the devs could have some real fun by having lore reasons why gear is now underpowered or lacking. Say that a supplier or weapons factory created inferior gear or supplies that made the weapons way strong are running out and we are using a substitute.

@@arieson7715 I mean in my opinion as a programmer, it’s not worth the time and effort to change values regarding enemies, it’s much easier to fix one thing than many because then you’re changing nearly every other interaction with every other gun and you have to spend even more time nailing the balance when you already know what guns are underperforming now. That’s why this is hilarious to me because if the liberator stats suck, why would they make another gun with the same values.

To be fair they did ask for a delay on the warbond. It confuses me how the playerbase can complain so much about the Tenderizer when they literally asked for it to be rushed out the door.

Its more of a numbers issue than anything else. Bugs fight in hordes and bots don't. Its objectively easier to get 2 million bug kills than bots on that alone.

Most of yall never played helldivers 1 and just do not understand the kind of game helldivers is and only played 2 because of the hype and now you're on the harder difficulties and blame the game. It's labeled "an extreme HORDE SHOOTER" so most difficulties will be hard, especially the hardest ones. Quit begging the devs to lower the difficulty and ruin others fun just so you can survive on the harder difficulties and feel included. Put in the effort to get better or go down on difficulty. If yall cannot handle 7-8 without crying I cannot wait to see the crying that happens when the difficulty shoots up to 15 and there's 6 difficulties harder than helldive.

Listen up, I’m fine with a decent number of people playing a certain side because they find it more enjoyable that’s fine, personally, I love the unique gameplay of both sides (apart from bots headshotting with aim bot but that’s not relevant to my point). My point is that when a major order is the difference between unlocking a stratagem (content) for 100’s of thousands of people (all the players of this game) or not, people should set aside their damn slights with certain enemy types and players who almost exclusively play the opposite faction as them for a couple days until we have that stratagem or new content. This game is community driven and to help people out who want to unlock that new content for a couple days before chilling and doing your own thing again is all I expect and plead from people. Sorry if the beginning of this was very passive-aggressive and rude to you, I agree in saying that it was, but a content providing major order should supersede personal slights (for a little while) so everybody can unlock that content.

I don't really feel bad for anything but the Sony shit. AH clearly needs to get their stuff more organized. Every single update is riddled with bugs, performance is going to shit, and they are balancing PVE like PVP. I hope they get themselves sorted out before they run the game into the ground.

Same, which is honestly why I stopped playing. All the crashes, bad gun nerfs, and OP increase to patrols we have to contend to, at least pay me for the hard work. Nope! Even personal orders are starting to glitch for me. I can't unlock things anymore, so I stopped. I'll come back when they unbreak and make the game enjoyable again.
