Nestled within the charming village of Clisson, France, the 2023 edition boasted an astounding lineup of 179 bands, drawing an awe-inspiring crowd of approximately 180,000 fervent metalheads for a remarkable four-day extravaganza. Although this video can only capture a fraction of the festival's essence and the incredible individuals who make it extraordinary, it aims to offer a glimpse of the unparalleled experience it offers. @@koffinkat666 the reason you aren't seeing many battle vests is that its hot as fuck at Hellfest. also you can see mine in the video and i can assure you it has no Judas Priest or Kiss patches on it.

@@koffinkat666Actually I was reading reports from longtime Hellfest fans who say that more of a mainstream "hard rock crowd" are taking over. Give it a few more years, they'll be having rappers headline.

After the massive mud at WOA 23, this looks like a nice change. Is there a camping site nearby? Or a place to park the car properly?

There’s camping in the festival grounds - included with the ticket purchase. But there are also places nearby that offer small camping sites. There are also two big parking lots for festival-goers.

DJI pocket 2 for most of the video - I used the DJI action 2 for the moshpit sequence at the end.

@@JImmY1982MinG this year was pretty chaotic. Went the first day, almost killed by mud, had to sit out 2nd day but then weather improved a lot for 3rd and final days so I went then. Gets super fucking cold after about 10pm though

Why cant the states have a set up like this. I dont goto any festivals anymore because they suck in states and they are all to greedy. Goto a show in states and be in debt for next 2 years from it.. and I know all festivals are not cheap. But atleast your guaranteed a fantastic experience at hellfest for your $$

I heard it was a bit too crowded this year, but wasn't there. I was at Hellfest in 2022 and it really wasn't that much crowded outside of the stages. They were a lot of area to sit on the grass even in the shade.

A place for rich people who want to have fun like in Disneyland ... The difference with Disney is that to take the photo it will not be with Mickey but with a devil all in red. It's not rock'n'roll at all, and not Punk. There's even Cinderella's castle in the Prince of Darkness version, it's ridiculous. Thanks Lost and Finding Thanks to you I won't go, nice job
