Have just gain much admiration and respect for Gong Myoung, he so adorably cute in ways which matter the most. Sign of a decent, sensitive young man when you can empathize outside yourself what a person is going through. He'll definitely make someone a decent husband/father when he decides to get married someday she'll be a very lucky girl.

1st concern is such an insensitive, irresponsible selfish father. Actually, calling him a father is a stretch since he doesn't act like one to his daughter. He's the type of parent that should be left on their own in their old age. The sooner he realizes that she won't always be there for him the rest of his life and that he needs to change, the better their relationship would be in the long run, so she won't resent him. Much as it's hard to raise children, it's a lot harder to raise parents.

she is all grown up now, people her age have families of their own in some countried.what kind of care does she need? she is not child anymore,she has home and can work,as for getting sick, taking care of her health and body is her own problem. she should not give him money,because she pays bills,but on the other hand she could think of it as paying rent if she can't move out.

Living in Korea is extremely expensive, so I doubt with her going to school and the few bills she gets from her part time job is gonna get her to live anywhere, unless she somehow bunked at a friend's house instead. That's why people in Korea tend to live with their parents for so long cause deposits are expensive

Oh gosh I cried so much for Subin and half-laughed/cried when one of the guests was crying. She's so strong and independent but I hate that she was forced to grow up so early in life because of how irresponsible her father is and where the heck is her mom? I think both parents are irresponsible in their own way :( The part when her friend said she was traumatized by her parents yelling absolutely broke my heart.... Buutt the guy from the third concern looks like an adorable panda :D

I agree, although I was very angry at the father I couldn't stop myself from asking, where is the mother in all of this? Subin didn't even mention her mother, perhaps she was even worse than the father (if there is anything worse anyway).. I cried so much damn it

The first concern makes me really appreciate my parents, especially my dad. He works hard jobs despite getting close to 50 and comes home in the early morning hours. When my parents ask for money, I don't even bother saying no because of all the sacrifices they've made. The daughter is a good one(way better than me), I hope the dad wakes up. He's going to need someone to take care of him eventually and it might just be his daughter.

This is why I'm thankful to have the father I have. Most of my life, I didn't have a mom so my aunt stepped up as a mother figure to me until I was 11. I'm really grateful to have had my aunt by my side and I'm grateful to my dad for keeping me safe and watching over me. I couldn't be prouder.

About the first concern: Do not believe a word of her dad's promise. He won't change ever. He cannot express well his emotions, however, one thing is writter all over his face and that's "I want to be alone and live my own life". He puts himself and his needs first and by staying alone he would do others a lot of good. Subin should keep up the good work, become independent and have a limited contact with her father, for her own sake.

5urpirse are a group with the concept of actors who sing rather than idols who have branched out into acting. Most recently he was in Ddanddara with Jisung and Girs' Day's Hyeri :)

I remember seeing the article about Myoung crying and I said to wait to watch the show to understand more. I wasn't expecting all that...I started tearing up once she went in depth of her story but when Myoung broke into tears and asked the father *What's wrong with you?* I just couldn't control myself and cried my heart out. I mean he's a stranger to her and his emotions were so down and the father did not even blink... How selfish can you be? My father was also someone who was quite strict and had his flaws but when it came to me he would have moved mountains just to see me smile. How dare you say you are a parent when you treat your daughter in such way and now that she got you out there you say you will change....He should have realized all this before the poor girl came out on national television and to change. But maybe it's for the better and he will try to change. If not I hope she moves out and he dies alone because if after all this nothing changes then he deserves to be alone forever

Beatrice Elena I know I'm replying to this late but Subin's story really struck a cord with me because I was also denied much of a child because when I was about 2, my parents divorced and the custody battle over me and my brother lasted three years. Over the course of those three years, my dad lost 10+ jobs due to court dates. Much of my life, I didn't have a mother figure and my dad and my aunt were my parents because my aunt was tge only female figure I could look up to until I was about 11 years old. When I was 7, I kept trying to sell my toys so I could help my dad with bills. No one really took them but, I really wanted to help. I'm really grateful to have had a mother figure like my aunt. And I'm grateful to my dad for watching over me and caring for me all these years.

The first concern makes me so sad but it also makes my blood boil. This is abuse, its not physical but its emotional and mental. Who knows how long this has been going on, her friend said she even has trauma from people yelling at her and she still has to deal with it day in and day out at work. How is that man a father? How do you sit and watch/listen to your daughter cry or be ill and just shrug it off and not care. What a trash man, you didn't want a kid then you shouldn't have had one.

The third concern was really iffy. I don't think the friend was gay just super attached to his friend (lol he kind of reminded me of how I bother my little sister when I'm really bored). What bothered me that everyone was trying to out him on national television. Like if he is gay he'll come out when he's ready and shouldn't be forced to do so in front of a studio audience

That was the Only time(live) they could All talk to him as Hello Counsellor in Korea and I bet they signed a contract beforehand to not withhold what is revealed on camera. They’re basically real counsellors but just on television. They needed to uncover really the underlying issues, and make/put things to light, so therefore they can come up with a solution- for both parties- when Everything has been put on the table otherwise they wouldn’t be resolved, and the opportunity would be wasted. I hope there is also understanding from your opinion.

I'm really worried that the father from the first concern might not change. Honestly I felt like he was trying to say he's going to change just to get things over with. The first concern made me cry a little. She is such a hard worker and especially because she is someone that is around my age, I just want to hug her. The fact that she is up on her own two feet, working 2 jobs, Going to school and still practically taking care of the household at that age is amazing. Also that her parents recently got divorced and her father is acting like this, I don't understand that. She is literally at an age where we still need the love from our parents the most and her father is completely using her as if his own daughter is just a friend or another human being in that house.

I'm so glad the first concern won. I cried like a baby listening to her talk about her struggles and dad not paying any attention to her. The most hurtful and horrible thing to say to your child is what he already said ... not going to repeat it. Let's hope his promise is not just lip service. I really do hope he makes changes and improves his relationship with his daughter.

When Myoung asked her father 'what's wrong with you?' I really felt that frustration in his voice even though it was displayed as a funny comment. I can't help but question what went wrong with people like the dad of this highschool girl. She was way too sweet towards him. Omg I cried so much for the girl with that asshole of a father. She's such a strong and sweet kid to care for him after all the mean things he does and says. This makes me so upset and angry. I was crying so much for the Subin that I didn't even realize gong myoung was a guest until I saw him crying which made me cry even more. The worst feeling I have ever felt in this world is feeling unwanted and unloved by your family. I could feel her pain so much, I hope they can reconcile and rehabilitate their relationship. 💕 also I love gong myoung💕

The dad from the first concern don't deserve to be called a father, although she's an amazing daughter! And even with all the bad treatment that she receives from her dad she continues to worry about him. I have all the respect for her, suffering like that in such an young age :/ Her friend and the guests, especially Myoung, were much more sensitive and reliable then her "dad". They really know what they're talking about when saying that "friends are the family we choose". Seeing those kind of concerns make me always remember how blessed and loved I am by my parents and family :) I hope the best for her!

I don't really like it when concerns like the last concern. It's obvious he is gay. Why bring him to get ridicule and make it into a joke? If the guy don't like it, just break off all contacts. With the way Korea is, he will never say he is gay. Especially not on national tv.

I think the reason he was brought there was because he was a bit creepy and obsessive- had it not been to that extent of coming over at 2 in the morning he wouldn't have had to go cuz that's not right regardless of him being into guys or girls

He doesn't have to be gay. I have a small circle of friends but my best friend and I have known each other for 11 years now and she knows me better than I know myself sometimes. I've never been able to form another friendship as strong as the one I have with her. Our families kind of abandoned us so we've been there for each other through everything. She's been with this amazing guy for 2 years now and I'm happy for them but a part of me is also terrified that she prefers him over me. She should because I think they want to get married but it's still scary losing the one person who understands you. The guy in the last concern is just a little selfish. I'm really happy for my friend but I could understand his concern.

gong myoung said that he felt he made the show too serious, but i think it was good that he made it serious, because it was a serious issue. some of the issues they have are especially extreme and need professional help, but they always treat it too light and make jokes.

I just fell in love with Gong Myung. But seriously, the dad needs to WAKE THE F UP. His daughter works so hard at school and at work yet she's so young, and even when he is being really shitty to her, even when she could just leave him behind and have a better life she decides to stay with him and help him. She's too precious. Bless her. She deserves the best.

The first concern was so sad. Gong Myoung was adorable. I think the dad should tell his daughter to stop working and concentrate on studies and going out with her friends.
