@@MetalHopper Yeah, those are the most intriguing cybernetics, but hearing implants have already done wonders for people literally everywhere. Plus there is also the metal reinforcements that sometimes are added after certain surgeries. This stuff isn't as thought provoking as what cyberpunk stuff shows off, but it still shows we're already there technically. We just need people to start producing those products and provide those services.

He realizes that everything he invested in her was wasted, she wasn't real and every interaction she had with him was nothing but her programming. Basically, technology can't replace the real deal. The irony of the meme being that "waifus" are used in much the same fashion as the programmed girlfriends in the movie. A twitch streamer cowering behind a program can't supplement a real woman. It's there to earn money, not have a personal attachment. Her reciting the exact lines the original program speaks adds another layer of irony. She's doing it as a joke not realizing that she embodies the very thing the movie was criticizing, people using technology to offset their loneliness and lack of connection.
