Hello Summer, Hello Sidedress Season!

Follow along as we start sidedress season. Corn needs nutrients as it grows! Just like a baby learning how to eat, we spoonfeed the baby corn so the nutrients are there at the time the crop. needs it!
Hank and I follow Josh around, give him suppers, and squeeze in the tractor cab together. It's summer on the farm and that means LOTS of outdoor time. Thanks for joining our journey!

Couple more weeks and the corn will be taller than Hank. I like how you get right in there with Josh and be "active" with what he is doing. I know you grew up on a farm, did you then and do you now drive tractors much? Could you do what Josh is doing if he asked you to? 👍😁

With some training I could. I used to spread fertilizer for a cooperative, and I drove semi truck, but I'm needed on a much more important job these days :)

I actually thought I misheard you and had to check the sub count when you said you had 1000 subs...I couldn't believe it was so few. It also has to be said I loved Hank's shirt "Hello World (I'm new here)" genius :)

1000 subs! Your on your way. Pretty soon Deere will be bringing you machinery to use for free just like MN Millennial Farmer! Fast brand equipment originated in the shop of a large farm 25 miles from me in Minnesota. Verlon Fast and family. One of my neighbors has worked for them for many years,helping build sprayers and sidedress machines. The Fast company is now 100% employee owned and they take pride their work. Now part of Fast Global Solutions.All from a farmer with better ideas welding in his shop 30 years ago.
