Knowing how weak Steve is at killing mobs in single handed combat, it is natural that he would be dependent on redstone engineering to defend himself and his house. Alex should have forseen that a man of contraptions like Steve would in no way permit anyone to just wander about near his home.

the best part is the funny animation and best edition when Alex is doing so that he doesn't fall off the traps that Steven xd put on but when he finished and then he kept the last trap and flew and fell off the roof and a lot of angry Alex when he got a good, poor kick that must hurt xd

What I find funny is that, for a moment Alex is scared by the Arrows probably not expecting them. Same for the TNT where they get shocked. These were for MOBS, not for her. If Steve actually made something that was designed to subdue alex(not kill), would it ever actually work? Again, he's expecting mobs that can't do anything and it caught Alex off guard twice. Imagine if Steve legit made an entire contraption and the like to challenge Alex.
