My family and I spent 5 amazing days in Reykjavik, Iceland and then we flew to Paris to enjoy this lovely city for another 5 days for our spring vacation. I didn't do much shopping, but I still have a lot of eye candy to share, especially from my visits to Sezane and Hermes! This video is proof that we can admire many beautiful things, without necessarily owning them all. I hope you enjoy! ~

Walking around in Europe is like living life in an architectural museum, I miss that. Thanks for the peek in Sezane and lovely restaurants. My favourite bit was seeing the lady with her weimaraner outside Hermès, such a graceful dog and would look great in orange 😆. Looks like a great holiday! Thanks for sharing parts of it with us.

Beautiful shots of Paris. I had great experience/memory of that H boutique. My SA told me they have more unique or rare pieces than other boutiques. I was lucky to get my 1st Birkin 30 from there. We definitely enjoyed the food there. Great video ❤

So much beauty everywhere! Re the Herbag, I really love the look of it with gold hardware, and love the fact you can the fabric inside out for a totally different look. I especially love the look/functionality of the fabric that’s waterproof on one side and linen-like on the other. Plus, I’m really not much of a ‘dressy/whimsical’ dresser, so the relaxed-yet-Classic vibe of the bag works with my wardrobe.

I just returned from Paris two days ago, and watching your video I'm bummed I missed the Hermes store at this location. What a treat. Thanks for sharing. P.S. The protests marched through CDG airport, closing down border patrol for a while. Hundreds of people crammed together waiting to push through once the gates opened. Luckily, we made our flight.

I ordered the Sezane larger basket bag in tan with black leather and it’s beautiful! They stitch the inside sinch sack into the basket so it doesn’t fall out or get stolen. Love it!

Great video. Guess where going in May? And we’re staying in the adult suite in the Regina. I liked what you showed I Sevage, especially the woven Milo. Every French women should carry a straw bag in the summer and there was so lovely one there. We will be going to Hermes…would like to score the gold birkin I sold for hubbys watch. I’m also going to look in MOYNAT as well. Looks like you had a great time in spite of the louvre demonstration. CAN’T WAIT!

Hi Hanna. Lovely trip to Paris. Interesting how you didn’t feel the need to shop for yourself there. I can appreciate your feelings. I’m preparing to leave later this month and have been thinking about what I’d like to buy ….. can’t really say I’m dying to snag anything there. I appreciated your Sézane visit. Want to get your thoughts on how you’d compare the Sezane milo bag shown in the video with the APC grace bag (the original proportion not the baguette size), quality wise and bang for your buck wise? I like the Celine box esque aesthetics and want to try with a more affordable option. These 2 seem like strong contenders that are similar too.

If I’m comparing the original APC Grace with the Sezane Milo, I’d choose the Sezane bag. A few reasons: 1) the original APC Grace (not the baguette style I have) has the branding/stamp on the front of the bag which in my opinion makes it look a little less sleek and minimalist. The baguette style has the stamp on the backside of the bag for example. 2) the Sezane Milo is such a great shape and size and it has a back pocket!! The compartments are a plus. 3) In terms of quality, they’re comparable but in terms of pricing, Sezane wins. Hope this helps!

They just completed a gorgeous remodel of the flagship Cartier boutique in Paris at Rue de la Paix. I know this because there is a You Tube video guided tour featuring the CEO. For anyone wanting the immersive experience, I recommend searching. It is well done; I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was the Rue de Sevres store. It’s quite special and my favorite of the ones I’ve visited. You’ll need to apply for the lottery appointment system if plan to buy leather goods (bags namely) but otherwise you can just walk in. There may be a queue inside the store (not a line but sometimes you need to give your name and sit and wait until it’s your turn). Hope this helps.

In Iceland we stayed at the Black Pearl Residences. It’s like a full apartment which is what we wanted. Not really a hotel, per say.

Is the milo classic long enough to wear crossbody? Was it heavy?

Yes it’s perfect for crossbody. I showed a clip of me wearing it in the video. It felt heavy when I picked it up but then it didn’t feel so heavy when I wore it on my body! I wish I could’ve brought my scale to properly weigh it. 😂 The straw one definitely felt lighter than the exotic leather.

Rue de Sevres in Paris… no I didn’t make an appointment because I wasn’t interested in buying a bag. If you want to buy a bag, you have to have an appointment. The appointment is by lottery.

Hard to compare. For visiting, I enjoy both cities very much, but I always say, I’d gladly live in London but I wouldn’t live in Paris. London feels more like a relaxed NYC so perhaps it’s comfortable for us. This trip was coupled with some time in Iceland so that made it a bit more memorable. So, not sure that answers your question? 😅😂

No lines outside but there’s often a queue inside so you may need to give your name and wait. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait more than 5-10 minutes.

This comment may be deleted but it’s a chance I’m willing to take 😅 I have a brand new Gucci soho disco in the blush color it truly has never even been used! I am trying to sell it. I have tried to post it on eBay and they literally told me it was a fraud when I had purchased it directly from the Gucci website. I have the receipt as well as dust bag box and the green tote that came with it. If anyone is interested or knows a way to sell it that will get a good profit like close to what was paid please let me know! Thank you ❤
