Adam, I cannot get over the fact that you have been literally feet from me & never knew. That building in the reflection of your thumbnail, I can see out of my apartment window. I wish I would have seen you, I would have bought you a piping hot beverage. PS Hellraiser III is my favorite one & I am SHOOK to know it was filmed around here.

Love you are in my state today. My great uncle Archie worked in the furniture factories in high point nc, at a young age he lost his lower arm and hand in one of the furniture machines. They gave him a job for the rest of his life as long as he wanted it. Could have been this building where he worked...

Thank you Adam for sharing this. I am a huge Hellraiser fan and part 3 is my favorite mainly because it had that campy vibe but it was just a fun movie. I am shocked to learn that the Pyramid Gallery front still remains and virtually untouched. I would visit NC just to see that in person and to take pictures in front of it. Again, thank you.

What shocked me about that was I have lived in Greensboro since 1998 and I always thought that had been a business, I hadn't realized, until today, that it was for a movie.

That's awesome you got to go in! I love the looks inside and that the pyramid jazz is still on the door! A lot of our old mills are now antiques shops. I can't wait to see you and Scott together. Please let me know how to reach you when you send out Instagram stories for locals but, the response messages apparently aren't seen? I'd love the chance to show you around while you're still here. :)

I was a film student at UNCG at the time, and a HUGE fan of both Clive Barker and the Hellraiser films. I was lucky enough to work as an extra on all of the "Boiler Room" scenes. I was even pulled to be the stand in for the stunt double who goes over that railing which you referenced. It was fun to see inside the building again after all this time, it hasn't changed a bit honestly. So many great memories, and an exciting time to be in North Carolina. I'd like to be able to post a still of myself from the cut-away shot as Pinhead enters the club but youtube doesn't allow for such things.

Excellent coverage. It’s wonderful to see these locations still in such (mostly) pristine condition. I was Doug Bradley’s stand-in for this shoot, and spent a lot of time at all of these sites. One thing I wanted to clear up, though. At the High Point location, you referenced one area being where J.P.’s apt probably was. His apt existed only on set at the sound stage. When Pinhead first appears at the top of the staircase prior to the bar massacre, the staircase is right in that area, but the actual apt was not.

Great detective work my friend. I shared your enthusiasm as you explored the locations and wow, what a special treat to be able to go into the Boiler Room. Your attention to detail pays off. Lots of filming has been done in NC due to the great relationship and promotion for film makers to to there. SC was pretty active and some great films have been produced there as well, but the incentives diminished, hopefully that will improve. Thanks for doing this, It is so exciting to see that so much was still so recognizable.

I love cheesy horror films what can I say
@NadaSurferTube
@NadaSurferTube 2 жыл бұрын
Hmm! Interesting...I never really thought it was strange at all, I think maybe it's a generational thing? I know plenty of people in my demo that grew up loving Leatherface, Michael, Freddy, Jason and Pinhead, etc, I can't speak for everyone but I don't think it's so much that we loved watching horror to enjoy the violence, so much as it was just fun to scare ourselves, laugh at the way they pull off the gore, and yell at our screens at all of the ludicrous set-ups. My main time with horror sort of waned sometime in the 2000s, sometime after Hostel 2, and then I think I finally noped out at the human centipedes, and all the Asian horror flicks I suddenly couldn't stomach anymore. Needed more camp, and I guess as Woo, says, yes, more cheese.

Love filming locations because I thank filming on location makes a movie or tv series more realistic that’s why I can appreciate every time you do a filming location video because it really gives me a sense of all that the film production alone with the actors and actresses have to go through to film in each of the locations and your photos you show always help with understanding each scene also you lucked out when that super nice lady aloud you to go inside that building which by the way was quite fascinating from all the stuff you showed and you were so right Adam that area looked so much like a backlot filming location also the buildings in that town were like stepping back in time thanks now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next Adams Big Adventure also please be safe out there

Adam, I'm not sure if you'll see this post but I had to post it. At about 27:14 on Apple TV. There is a scene where Joey is in her apartment and talking about the archive tape. In that scene Terry is heading out the door. On the left side of the screen there is a clock. Notice that it is not running. At 27:45 and you'll notice that the clock is now running. The only reason why I noticed this is because I think I have a Clock that is similar to the one in the movie and I was looking at it trying to figure out if it was the same clock I have. And that's how I noticed it. Great video. Stay Safe.
