That's a great point. Didn't he change back into like a frickin toddler when Dr Channard hit em with a snake projectile? I thought it was desire that brings them not just hands? They let the mute girl go because she was innocent more or less..it's rather odd that the kid would have been changed.

@Jordan Powers I know this is late, but I believe they did tell Chatterer's story in a comic. I forget the name of the comic, though.

@@shredmancer It was Channard's desire to open the box, not the girls. She was only meant to open the box, because she was good at solving puzzles. She was Channards hands, pinhead (the hell priest) knew this that's why he let her go. When he said, "it is desire" he looked directly at him but did nothing because he knew that the leviathan had plans for him. It's also why he didn't close the portal or gate when he left like he usually does.

Chatterer's story is different from the movie. He was a handsome young man that made his living by being a prostitute. He felt in love with a man and was betrayed. Somehow the box crossed his way - the stories tend to show that the box always find it's "owners", like a living being in itself. It knes that Chattared would have the desire to solve it. His wish was to be loved - opposed to Frank Cotton's who wanted ultimate pleasure. As the cenobites could not fulfil this kind of order, he then asked to be ugly, so only someone who truly loved him would want him. So that's how he became that twisted thing..

Lament Configuration is a fancy demon word for, Rubix's cube.

The movies make it seem easy to open due to the time constraint & faster pacing. You can tell it takes a lot on a person to open it. E.g. Frank, Eliot, etc. (Hellraiser I & II)

In the third movie it is explained that its actually a simple puzzle, and that it was made simple so more people can solve it and summon them.

The Cenobites also explained that the Configuration is unlocked by the desire to summon them more than manual dexterity

There is a regular Rubiks cube made to look like the Lament Configuration in stores like Hot Topic. I should warn you now though, you won't solve it because it only has like 3 unique sides and it just completely messes you up cause each one is just slightly off so if you mess with it, you'll never remember how it was meant to be. I actually had to cheat and dismantle the box entirely and manually put the pieces back in to 'solve' it.

I am aware the recent influx of views and comments are regarding the new addition of Pinhead or Hell Priest to Dead By Daylight. Ido play but I haven't played recently or him yet in the game. My go to was usually Pyramid Head.

Haha, I know. My computer crashed and this was all I could salvage. I had planned to render a proper ending but didn't wanna go through the hassle again of rebuilding the box...or summoning more demons to crash my computer again lmao

I know, my computer crashed after I finished and I was never able to re-render. I have plans to revisit this concept though now that I have a more powerful pc.

Interesting take. I have yet to see one with all configurations and automated entirely. I was thinking about attempting one eventually maybe using actuators or gears and motors. I recently 3d printed a Phantasm Sentinel and automated the blades, but I've not finished it entirely. Still need to solder in some limit switches and get the drill portion working.

After the render I came back into my room and my computer had crashed and my light in the ceiling fan had burnt out. The light just suddenly wouldn't turn on in the room. I still get some shivers thinking about it
