In most of the fights in Ultimate Alucard uses Levels 3, 2 and 1 all at the same time. In this show he even has a Level 5 release that creates an massive illusion that traps his enemy in it to confuse them or make them forget where they are! He used it on the two vampire teenagers.

He is not weak.Compared to alucards fight with vampire Walter I say this fight is more intense not to mention with seth in himself he is superior to captain to be honest.

Personal preference possibly although Ultimate focuses heavily on visuals, whereas the original focuses more on characters. Seras gets such little screen time in Ultimate by comparison and the entire point to her character is to have been dropped into this supernatural underground war, vampire v human, and struggle against the thirst for blood inside her, to hang on to her humanity. Meanwhile Alucard wants a capable opponent, possibly to finally die as Ultimate does elaborate explicitly on true, however Ultimate feels more like its trying to showcase a lot of fanservice action "Here's the characters you love kicking ass" Original run sets them up as fleshed out characters rather than relying on firefights and blood on the screen every five seconds with cartoonishly evil caricatures of people that want the fans to squee in glee as they see Alucard do the vampire thing that they fondly remember. it's similar to how people keep saying Teen Titans was dark and gritty but no. It was a comedy first and foremost which is why we remember the grounded and darker sides of the show, when things get serious because the characters aren't joking around anymore, and it isn't a villain of the week. Teen Titans Go i still despise because of animation making my brain want to explode and one uncomfortably long fixating scene on Ravens legs which felt kinda creepy. Anyway, Happy New year

Eh. I like both versions because each one has something different to offer. We don't get Incognito in Ultimate, likewise, we don't get Hans or The Major in Hellsing. I don't really like to compare them to each other, if I'm being honest, because again, each version has something the other just doesn't.
