Honestly it’s not that difficult if you keep it simple but not to simple otherwise it would look bad also always use fresh ingredients and if you really want to impress you can try to go for something more challenging like a soufflé if you got the skills.

@@vera2892 Well first of all you don’t know that and second when you see most 3/5 scores on this show Ramsay typically says either the dish tasted good but it didn’t look that great or the dish looked amazing but it didn’t taste as good as it looked. I went off of what the show gave me, not just what I observed myself

2:27 Frank needs to take extreme pride in his pasta sauce. Gordon straight up told him he loved the sauce 3 times. Normally he only compliments once about stuff being good. This sauce must have blown him away.

"I gotta fuckin win this" Narrator: *She didn't fuckin win this* That quote aged poorly...she ranked in 12th place. Her performance was consistently poor. During the episode she was eliminated, she repeatedly served burnt and raw steaks. The red team lost because of her. While she didn't win Hell's Kitchen, she DID land on a job of Executive Chef at a few restaurants. She even appeared on an episode of Chopped and was a runner-up

The last one with the “you should!” Moment is another time that Ramsey recognizes the father figures he didn’t have. Her father was a largely positive role in her life (he talks about how her video to get into Hell’s Kitchen got him teary eyed in the DVD commentary because she said her dad was the best judge she has in life because she’s never given him a dish that he thought was “perfect” but he’s never been mean to her). This was a subtle nod to the fact that he thinks her dad would say it was perfect.

And class and training mean nothing to him. I remember an episode of Hotel Hell where the cook at the hotel ran a food truck in his off time. Am I the only one who sees Gordon's big heart through all the rough talk? I am confident he has a heart of gold.

Pretty sure he does, yes. His rough talk is mostly because he knows there are other people (aka. customers) on the other side of the hotplate that deserve to get delicious food. But he also protects his chefs from annoying customers so they can concentrate on the job. When Ramsay left the restaurant he worked at and opened his own, the entire stuff left with him. They wanted to continue to work under him and he was 100x worse back than compared to any show he puts on. Also if you just watch his "homecooking" videos you can really see a guy that just loves cooking and is passionate about it beyond believe.

Everyone loves to see Gordon yell and show his frustration at ineptitude, but I seriously love it more when he shows his appreciation and positive feedback for well made dishes. He is so sincere and direct that his compliments speak volumes more than his anger ever conveys. I love the guy when he’s not mad, but would never want to be cooking for him either, as I have the potential to ruin anything, even the easiest dishes I make!

And that last segment, perfect example of why I love Gordon Ramsay as a mentor. When he called her up before he judged the meal he could tell she was very nervous and a little shy and then once he confirmed the meal was good and she has good talent he made sure to let her know just how special her meal was with a simple compliment that holds a lot of weight, to try and boost her confidence.

Sterling is by far my favorite competitor with Milly being a close 2nd. Sure Sterling may not have won but everyone loved him including Ramsay and he went out in such a great way. The man knows how to cook and let's face it he's just such a great guy and that's a true winner in my book and like he said during his wholesome departure he got something a lot of competitors never did: Chef Ramsay's heart. ❤

Theres not enough vegan dishes out there in competition. Im a father of a vegetarian daughter, and im always trying to accomodate her tastes... and Millie just gave me a few great ideas for dinner. Thank you Millie from one father to another.

@@dj11o9er Vegetarian is rather easy, vegan can be a bit more tricky. The rule of thumb is, that veggies don't taste as good as meat on their own, so you have to put in some work yourself. If you don't want to live from TK stuff alone, you really have to have atleast some cooking skills to manage a vegan diet

Me and my brother can relate to Millie. My brother had it worse than I did though. When me and my brother were growing up, we had it alright for a while, until we moved in with my dad and step mom. For many years, we starved so much while the step siblings got luxury. My brother got kicked out and was forced to live in the streets for several years. Years later, me and my brother reunited and me, my brother, my sister in law, and my nephew live inside a big sized house. My nephew is one lucky kid because his dad would sacrifice everything for him. And even give him the best food that he can ask for as well.
