Seems like I have worked with inspired and inspiring people like this and there's one element that is sometimes missing IMO. And that is the humility to accept that you don't know something or that you are wrong about something. Often these things are hard to come by for the most ambitious.

A view from the UK. Anyone who thinks this is conventional sailing, think again. This is well into the 'Aerodynamics' arena. We are, in effect, flying combining both air and water lift. Call it what you will but sailing, to aficionados, DOES NOT involve aerofoils, sorry.

It is not the pinnacle of our sport, which is sailing. There is no sail-handling in these boats.

It’s the pinnacle of design, engineering, technology and salesmanship all in one. Americas cup is unique.
