Hi Casey - shoot me an email to: gregmesserle@helmsmantrawlers.com and I can send you an email with some interesting videos on the 38E. Typically the swim platform is installed right at Charleston as part of commissioning but I deferred the requesite haulout to perform that task in lieu of allowing the electronics, dingy and canvas teams to stay aboard and wrap up their important work. This is why we did a tow with the dingy up to the ICW which was quite uneventful. I'm just wrapping up our haulout now and things looks great. Good eye for catching that - I was hoping someone might ask! The Mercury gauge is simply the device that displays the diesel engine specs I choose to monitor while underway such as RPMs, key temp / pressure readings and a range of customizable date sets based upon my preference. In my next video I'm going to do an exhaustive interior walk through.. just need to wrap up the current work.
