"Its not the pain that hurts the most, its not having anyone to talk to about the pain." But God has me hidden because of my favor. This is exactly where He wants me right now. Sermon Notes: 🙏🏾📝 Help, I’m Hidden- Why are you hiding? By: Charles Metcalf ▫️Word of the Year: Anchored ⚓️ •You can’t be healed without being H.O.T -- humble, open and transparent! It’s okay to not be okay. •Self-awareness feels weaker but is the STRONGER reality. Ignorance feels stronger but is the WEAKER reality. The difference between being comfortable vs experiencing the true healing of God. Stop trying to protect your perception of having it all together and be honest. 🚨Spoiler Alert: Everyones life that looks perfect, it’s not! Exodus 2:1-15 •One of the greatest pains is not only being hurt, but being hurt and nobody is around to help, talk to or acknowledge the pain. •Help, I’m Hidden! - Being misunderstood and not seen. Being hidden hurts! Time stamp: 16:50- 18:20 ▫️Mose’s mother thinking her only viable option is to float her son down a river for his safety-- 3months postpartum the anxiety and thought she may be feeling. Mose’s sister having to watch it all. Moses himself (the hidden one) although a baby the principle still applies-- his not in control, he can’t see anything and most of all he doesn’t even know why it’s been hidden. •Sometimes being hidden, it’s dark for a long time and why isn’t always revealed to you. However , we only hide things of high value! -- You’re hidden because of your FAVOR! ▫️Being hidden hurts! Being hidden has hurdles. 27:00 “Who am I?” •Sometimes when you’ve been hidden (closed off) for so long you start to do things out of character. -some things aren’t bad, but it’s the root of them (pain). •When you come out of hiding too early, you’ll do things you’ll regret! - isolation (Exodus 2:12) ▫️Exodus 2:13 Moses went into HIDING (out of fear and shame) after killing the Egyptian vs being HIDDEN as a baby! Being hidden isn’t the same as hiding. Back to the Garden if Eden - they made a mistake and thought I have to hide, I’m exposed. Exodus 2:15 “Midian” means covering. “The Mask Mandate”: putting in a “fake” mask to cover the real and truth of reality. Trying to cover up. ▫️The problem isn’t the desire to hide, it’s the destination you go to hide. 🤍 Allow God to be your hiding place. Psalms 32:7 Psalms 119:114 Psalms 17:8 Rather you’re hidden or hiding, God will always meet you there to make it Holy! ✨The Beauty of Our God: If He put you there, it’s Holy. If you put yourself there, He’ll show up and make it Holy. The goal of coming out of hiding isn’t for people to know you, but for you to know you! - your true, authentic identity! ▫️God will use what you find in hiding to help others! God says, “ This isn’t the real you. I know the real you! Come to me with your hurts and pain! -- worried, anxious, vulnerable, insecure, etc. God I need you!!

And today I actually had to sit down and give an honest effort to get into God's presence 🙌🏾 and Im inlove with transformation church so I like to go back to the the very last service I lift off on. And it just so happen to be this series! God literally met me in my Dark place and made it holy! I've been having a trouble time figuring out who I am and who he says I am. And by the grace of God he spoke to me from the transparency of Pastor Charles! He has spoken the ONLY question I've been screaming at God for! Thank God for his favor! This message was for me! I've been questioning God for some time because I was feeling hidden. I kept asking why was I lonely, why am I single, am I not worthy of love and happiness, and so many other questions. Watching this sermon I realized I wasn't being hidden but but I was actually hiding. Hiding out of fear of not being good enough. The fear of that judgment has caused me to isolate myself from living my life. I know God led me here to hear this message today. God I hear you!

Thank you Pastor Metcalf for this sermon The point that got me was Moses in the basket, being placed in the river, and being hidden as part of the timeline to lead to purpose. I have heard the story many times but didn't think about it like that or the hurt that Moses's mother felt having to let go of his son. Powerful. After going through a season of feeling very unmotivated in my work and involvement I started to begin to pray and ask God for strength and help. My word of the year is vulnerability and I wasn't sure why God gave me this word but it's hitting now lol I've been telling people Im in a funk but I believe better is coming. I know I'm not alright but I have enough faith to continue because I believe in the glory on the other side. It's hard to type but it's the hope that I have. To me, that's enough.

I started my influencing journey on social media in 2019, I hid a lot on how I felt. I just want to say thank you for listening to God. God is going to reward you and your obedience.
