I hope William sees this so he knows that he’s not alone. That feeling when you close the door to a properly enclosed cubical and all of a sudden you’re alone in your own private space, having just been in public, is one of life’s great joys. I find myself smiling sometimes as the lock turns.

When I was younger, I was waiting on a stretcher in the anaesthetic room before surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary when a tea lady came it to see if anybody wanted anything off the trolley. The surgeon got some bacon butties and I asked him if he was going to wash his hands before my operation because I didn’t want the scalpel slipping out of his greasy fingers ! I never got an answer because about a minute later the anaesthetist put me under !

OMG my son was born with ptosis!! When he was about 3 or 4 months old, he had surgery for it. They took the muscle that raises the eyelid and attached it to the muscle that raises the eyebrow. He then had to wear a patch on the opposite eye (his right eye) several hours a day, to exercise and strengthen the muscles in the other eyelid/brow. But the doctors said his vision was just fine. He's 23 now, and still has a slight droop to his eyelid.

I agree with William about cubicles. Despite being a social person, being alone for a period of minutes gives me that peace in the middle of the bustle of the public place.

Did anyone else get confused over the mention of 'STD cards' ? I was starting to wonder that it appeared as though there were no depths that card companies wouldn't sink to. Thankfully the meaning of this particular 'STD' was soon made clear.

Had ptosis surgery in February this year and had it while awake. Few jumpy moments when they touched my skin with a scalpel, and later my muscle, both which weren't fully numb, but after 5 eye surgeries and well into double figures of injections directly in both eyes and underneath, it was fine 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hello William, Jordan, and P.B., I am a new subscriber from the U.S. I'm right there with William and avoid urinals as much as possible. Here in Tucson, Arizona, it's shorts and sandals weather at least 50 weeks of the year; so you learn rather quickly that when using a urinal, you're basically pissing on yourself. Something one may not notice if your wearing pants and closed shoes. P.S. if you don't people rummaging through your sex toys, they're best kept in the gun safe. Cheers from the U.S.A.

I have a sweep stake at work. When my rota is on a night shift we guess what time the next rota will come back for their 6am start. The difference is, the turn up at 5am for no reason what so ever! We are call agents. And even though they turn up stupidly early, they don't sit ready until 6am on the dot, and never let us leave a few minutes early!

I had laser eye surgery and just had local anaesthetic. I could hear and feel the scraping on the eyelid and could smell the burning flesh.. I recently had another operation recently down below and this was under sedation and I didnt remember or feel a thing

I find it hard to believe the PA story because good quality body jewelry 316 surgical steel is not magnetic. So unless it was pierced with cheap jewelry, it wouldnt be magnetic

neodymium is /knee-o-dee-mium/ it's a rare earth element in the periodic table, but neodymium magnets are actually neodymium ferrite. They're powerful permanent magnets because the coercivity point, which is the point were it's completely demagnetized, can only be achieved by either going to the curie temperature which is well high up ambient temperature or by subjecting the magnet to an strong outside magnetic field that's opposing the one of the magnet that normally doesn't exist in our normal condition. Moreover the retentive point(residual magnet flux) of neodymium magnets are pretty close to the saturation point(max magnetic flux) of neodymium ferrite, so it keeps most of the magnetic field it was subjected when it was made in the factory.

He must have a low quality piercing. Piercings like that are usually made of 316L Surgical steel and In general, the 316L exhibits weak magnetic properties.

I was under the impression that wedding invites are for the celebration part - food, party, etc. That if you're getting married in a church, unless someone is gonna be completely disruptive, you can't deny someone coming to church, any of the congregants can come to the church and sit in on the service. I mean there are touristy churches that people can visit and there are obviously congregants doing their thing. If you go to Mass on weekday afternoons and there's a wedding going on, are you allowed to sit in?

Howling with laughter. On the Prince Albert piercing what use affects it has, I’ve had sexual relations with a man who had a Prince Albert and I could feel the piercing inside me my vagina. And the Prince Albert takes 6 weeks to heal and no sex or wanking for that period. Do not get in the way during sex or oral. The piercing metal is normally surgical steal or titanium.

Re Prince Albert piercings, FYI, although not confirmed ever, Prince Albert was reported to have the penile piercing attached to a chain down his trousers in order to hang his penis to one side as this was more aesthetically pleasing. He was reported to have had the piercing performed in his early 20's, prior to his marriage. And also, like William said, I’m wondering too if piercings are made of magnetic material!?
