Astrology: The Natal chart often has an emphasis on one of the four elements - air, fire, earth or water - and certain planets which enhance their tendencies. What are some practical ways to manage our natal elemental tendencies? How can we stand in the center of our charts and not react to the cycles swirling around us?
Too much mental activity (air signs Gemini and Aquarius dominance, and a strongly placed Mercury - linked to both Gemini and Virgo - and/or Uranus) makes it is easy to suffer from mental or nervous stress. Too much water (an emphasis on Cancer, Scorpio and/or Pisces, with the Moon and/or Jupiter prominent) can lead to emotional overflow which upsets our body's balance. Earth imbalances (for example, a strongly placed Saturn, dominant Capricorn, Taurus or Virgo signatures) may result in coldness, dryness, and holding on. Excess fire (Mars or the Sun strong or challenged, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius placements emphasized) often leads to over-activity and temperamental outbursts which could weaken the immune system.

Greetings from Hunedoara, Transylvania, Romania. I was born in 1976 here in the small Transylvanian town of Hunedoara. Several ethnic groups lived here alongside the Romanians. I am ethnic Hungarian. There were also ethnicities: Swabians, Saxons who of course are Germans, Jews, Poles, Lipovian Russians, Serbs, Croats, Slovaks, etc. ! Many have emigrated, in our case of ethnic Hungarians, we still remain the oldest and most evolved culture in Transylvania. But getting over my little story, I have selected on KZfaq on my channel, a few people who practice Western astrology. I personally admit that I resonate with Vedic astrology as well as Chinese astrology. I studied astrology as a self-taught person, and I actually have seven years and three months of study. Unfortunately wikipedia calls it pseudo-science, but wikipedia puts up with a lot of unreal stuff. I am an Aquarian native as the ascendant in the zodiac sign of Aquarius on the tropical system. I think I'm not a fixer, but rather I need to work on my inner/spiritual side. Thus, I am a boy with a lot of common sense, wit and a lot of humor. I am really waiting for a better future world, a different thinking, mentality, that is, a different life. I love history, I know religion, spirituality, etc.! I didn't make a list of those I set, for me what mattered and still matters is our evolution, the quality of being human. Of course I'm a loyal follower of your channel, I don't have a favorite astrologer, I don't have a list of the number one astrologers in this world, but I love astrology immensely and I honestly value you for what you do. A small caveat: I have only studied house systems for about two and a half years, may not be the oldest and best, with reference to Whole Sign, I would consider Porphyry or why not Krusinski. Let each of us create as our heart dictates. After this pandemic, I completely changed my mind about North America, but I won't go into details, God loves us as He created us. Divine blessings! 👌

Catherine, I greatly appreciate your perspective as the very self-directed being that I am. Greetings dear Catherine! An exceptional video. I checked the elements in the astrological chart several times. (Western astrology does not take into account the energy of the metal). I'm short of water. Chaotic air predominates at the expense of fire and earth. I am a restless person. But I tried to bring the necessary balance with what I lack inside. I have the moon in Gemini in the 4th house, and Mercury in Capricorn in the 12th house. Thanks for the information. Divine blessings! 👌

Thank you Catherine, this has been helpful. My Sun is exactly on my Virgo Descendant and I have noticed that I must confuse people with my dreamy Pisces Asc. but grounded Earth Sun sign. Others may think I do not care too much but it is quite the opposite! Add in a fiery Leo Moon and I do flare up! I shall set up boundaries for Pisces and let go with Leo:) I also have a Taurus Mars and Virgo Pluto square to each other which is a strong ,deep energy. The only way I've managed this is to try and use it for the better result so that problems don't reoccur. You're so right that Earth signs absorb and receive other energies, it can be too much at times, particularly at work. Astrology has been a great tool for knowing yourself.

Headache started when trsnsiting saturn entered my aquarius ascendent. I m gemimi sun , mercury with saturn in 6th house . I m a dietition snd vupping therspist .

@@catherinegoshen headache was coming and going atleast twice a month with vengeance from 2020 until Saturn stayed on my ascendent .. obviously I was trying to get rid of it and thankgod now I found a remedy that helped to eliminate it for good

You would need to put your details in to Astro.com and draw up your chart there with the correct geographic location. Look for ASC - that is your Ascendant/Rising. You will also find the symbols for your Sun (circle) and Moon.

@@karenisaqueen This class is not about cardinal, fixed and mutable. It's about the triplicities of fire, earth, air and water. You will learn about the Angles later. But everything is activated in your chart, only some energies are more active than others.
