These are methods that have been hugely helpful for us here- Catholic prayers, sacramentals, mindsets, and more that have truly helped us stay calm and trust in Jesus. St. Dymphna is one of my go to Saints when I seem to be having a particularly bad day, struggling with anxious thoughts. Also, the Surrender Novena has helped me immensely. I often repeat the prayer throughout the day, “Oh Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything.” 🙏🏻

I have just discovered the Surrender Novena which was suggested to me by my Franciscan fraternity members. It is a wonderful way to bring peace of mind through prayer.

Thank you for sharing these great ways for dealing. When my work hrs were cut, losing my health insurance then my daughter graduating & moving away, & me having to decide to resign from my job & move to the city, I was panicking & felt like I was just going to lose it. It was then that I cried to the Holy Spirit to descend upon me & take over because it just felt like I couldn't continue. He really came thru immediately & took over my emotions & calmed me. I still have to call on Him regularly. I will try some of the strategies you've shared. I appreciate you immensely for being here for us !

Thank you very much for this video. I've gotten tips which are new to me like asking saints or the Blessed Mother to be or go with us. And yes, I also need to be reminded ofyen that Jesus is bigger than any problem ❤

This is really good! I will add, that I will ask our Blessed Mother to pray for me, or I whisper, Lord, have Mercy. My new tool is listening to Gregorian Chants-I've started listening while I drive and at bedtime. I've recently discovered the Amen App , and it has "sleep stories" and other content that is specifically geared for anxiety, needing Peace, etc. Thank you, ladies! God Bless.🙏🌹

When my mother passed away, I was 23 years old and going through very difficult times. A very dear priest once suggested me to tell Jesus "I forgive you, now forgive me for all I have done to you". Of course there is nothing we can forgive Him for and we know it, but psychologically it helps. I remember crying and ending up with great peace.

This video was awesome! Thank you both. What a great list of ideas you came up with. I have saved this video so I can reference back to it again. I keep our holy water in a spray bottle as well! I like to "clean the rooms" if someone is having bad dreams or trouble sleeping. I also like to pray the Litany of Trust. When your past deeply troubles you, this puts everything into the right perspective. I also "hold hands" with my Guardian Angel often. He, too, accompanies me to the dentist and doctor, lol! You are both so inspirational, and your videos are always so helpful, fun, and edifying. God bless you both! ❤

This is so helpful. St Dymphna has become a close friend of mine. I love that you have a big spray bottle of holy water! I tend to have anxiety at night. I have a plastic beaded rosary I wrap around my wrist or put under my pillow to help. Thank you for sharing about such an important topic. Much love to you both. ❤

Oh my stars, that holy water spray bottle!!! I love it! Not sure what my Irish gran would have thought about that...she had dippers, as she called them, all around her house...of course she didn't have cats like I do...I have got to make a holy water sprayer now...(lol 'prayer' in the word sprayer)

I'm so glad you mentioned the spray bottle. I have a small spray bottle that I use and wondered if this was okay. Obviously, it is!! Thank you for that. The two of you are so wise. All of your suggestions are wonderful. We just have to keep reminding ourselves!

Hi, Hannah! We like the spray bottle because it keeps the holy water fresh longer (doesn't get cloudy), plus we can fill it up once at church and it lasts a good long while. We're so glad you enjoyed the video- thanks for watching!
