Plastic bumpers are a pain. Our newer cars have plastic bumpers, but my 1982 Mitsubishi L300 has steel bumpers.

Insane amount of work, dont worry tho, two weeks and itll be a distant memory and youll be ready to do another full body swap, harness swap and full paint

It will be better, to use paper insted of plastic. When you begin painting second layer, paint that have been dried on the plastic film can easily hurm new alredy painted body parts. So, I always masked parts near painted area by the paper.
