It is called pure negligence on the part of the doctor who discharged him. Don't tell me the doctor doesn't know how serious his situation is, the doctor simply wants to get rid of him from the hospital so he/she will have nothing to do with it thereafter.
@darkcloud58304 ай бұрын
It is not negligence. It is we don't give a damn. The guy is poor and has no way to pay for anything. He is not going to spend his time doing good deeds. Most hospitals in America wouldn't do sh!t for you until they confirm you are covered. I was in the hospital and witnessed a little girl with a broken arm and blood gushing out. They just temporarily wrap her arm up and make her wait. Like what the f, you scaring all the kids and you refuse to take her in after losing so much blood. Not like they will give her free blood after the insurance is checked out.

Not negligence. Intentional tort. Premeditated murder. The doctor knew the patient needed life-saving medical care but elected to discharge him with full knowledge this patient will die. The hospital is also culpable. Medical Board must suspend his medical license. If the DA has any courage and basic human decency, he’ll file criminal charges. But don’t bet on it. USA is great at taking lives but not saving lives.
@lindapaul53414 ай бұрын
The government has the doctors and hospitals so wrapped up that they can’t always treat people correctly as they need. Hospitals here used to have a sign that said you won’t be refused care regardless of your ability to pay. That was before the government stepped in. If they disobey orders then their funding will be cut. Our government is too big, too greedy and out of control. It’s very sad what happened to this man but it’s not the first time & unfortunately won’t be the last. I’m so sorry for him going through that.💔

They only provide a free lawyer if the government is the one that accuses you. The free lawyer will not give a sh!t about you and will just ask what is the lowest punishment the government is willing to give and if you don't take it, they will fck you up in the trial and screw you even more.

@@JERRYGOODE As an introduction, John Pilger made a documentary about the fall of the NHS (I haven't seen it - a fee is needed & I worked in it throughout the long story.) We doctors knew that successive governments were gradually going about privatising the NHS since the mid 80's. The 1st act was to silence us. Contrary to public opinion we were the strongest advocates for patient care. They did this through Trusts & the Data Protection Act - legislation whereby we could be sacked by our immediate employers, if we complained of any "short comings" outside our own hospital administration - another new government interference. If sacked, we'd be black listed across the country - the only option left to continue was to emigrate. We were even frightened to talk to former colleagues - friends in other hospitals, in case a small slip of the tongue could be traced back to us.

On the contrary, doctors have a statutory duty to treat and care for the sick. The "doctor" in this case should be charged for criminal negligence because he is a "professional" like you said.

That reminds me in the sixties. My older sister was studying archeology at the University. She had a boyfriend with a hippy look but was just a geek tripping on archeology. They both went to a summer field study at a site far away from civilization. The guy was suffering from acute asthna and had all his prescribed medecine for the summer with him. One day he had an asthma crisis and was carried back to the base camp. When my sister learn about it she hurried back to the base camp and told the director of the camp that it was just an asthma crisis and that they had his medcine in their tent. The direcctor told her that the rules forbid them to make any onsite diagnostic and that he had already called for an helicopter to bring him to the nearest hospital. She couldn't accompany him to the hospital because there was not enought place for her. At the hospital the doctor diagnozed a drug overdose (because of his hippy look) and he died under the treatments for drug overdose. But the guy's father was a reputable doctor high in the hierarchy of professional doctor federation. So he made sure to remove the professional doctor protection and sued the doctor that killed his son for medical malpactice. The day before the hearings that doctor commited suicide. The rumors was that he was addicted to some drug. That hospital was far from the big cities so he could not find any pusher when he was transfered to the hospital. So he was stealing his drug from the hospital pharmacy. Some accountant noticed that and there was an investigation going on. The doctor was in cold turkey when my sister's boyfriend came in and that's why it was the only diagnostic he could think of. That's an heritage of european aristocratic legal tradition. Some people of the elites must first be judge guilty by their peers before you can sue them in a tribunal for common laws. If their peers find them not guity you won't be able to win in a common law tribunal. My guess is Trump was judge a nuisance by his billionaire peers and that's why he has so many problems with the US Justice system.

The United States and Canada, real events, claim to be free medical care for all, but a little girl in Canada waited for nearly 3 years and then died. In the United States, if you can't make an appointment with a doctor, you will have to wait at least several months or even longer. If you don't have money to go to the emergency room, Then just wait, because you can't afford the high expenses. Many people who don't have money dare not get sick because once they get sick, they will wait to die. In China, you can choose a hospital to see a doctor at any time without waiting or making an appointment. You can be seen on the same day. , the cost is extremely low. If the poor have no money, they can take out a mortgage or raise funds from society. Everyone has medical insurance that can reimburse most of the expenses. Western media will never let you know what real democracy is. In China, unless you get an acute terminal illness and die There is no way your family will let you wait for death in the hospital. I have seen clearly the nature of the so-called false democracy in the West. It only serves the rich and will not take care of the poor and poor at all, let alone the homeless people on the street. A simple cold in the United States can completely kill a homeless person, because no one cares about them at all, and they are not considered human beings in the eyes of capitalists.
