This walk wanders through the center of the city, including Senate Square and Helsinki Cathedral. We will then head up to the more modern buildings, such as Finlandia Hall, and then we will finish along the Esplanade and Market Square.

Helsinki is just one city , there is so much more to see in this country. I lived in helsinki for 47 years before i really find real Motherland and moved out to the country side. Take a trip out of "kehä kolmonen" and see & feel Finland. You´ll be surprised.

Wow! Was just there two weeks ago on a stunningly beautiful and warm day. Looks so different in the snow! Thanks for the virtual winter tour. Kiasma was still under scaffolding when I was there, as was Finlandia Hall. The Amos Rex area with the bubbles was open though.

First and foremost, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas. You would not believe how happy I am that I found your content.This is like an early Christmas present for me. I finally found a lovely woman who talks about the history of these countries, the people, and their way of life. I am an avid traveler, and my next trip I would like to visit all the Scandinavian countries. Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. It’s such a pleasure watching your videos. There’s no insane loud music and stupid jokes. Your videos are about the country and the history of that country. Winter is my favorite season and I will visit during the winter season. I can imagine just sitting in one of those coffee shops, watching the snow come down and visiting all the museums and bookstores. Thanks again. 👍

You should do this video in the summer so that we, as in your audience, can see more. I have been to Helsinki three times but during the summer. This is not the Helsinki people remember because tourists usually come here during the summer.

Can the outside of the bank building be redone? It’s a bank so they can afford it, plus it will put the city on the map

Uuh, 640 000 people in the city proper, actually. Just to nitpick. It's changed a lot since the 1980s. It used to be kind of quaint, now it's an international bustling city with skyscrapers and loads of tourists. Not complaining, just remarking.
