Helsinki Walk: Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, July 3rd 2022, Finland. Last hours on the last evening of the three day festival. Walk takes between a break from bigger bands playing.
Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, commonly shortened to Tuska (Finnish: pain, agony), is a Finnish heavy metal festival taking place annually in Helsinki. The first Tuska took place in 1998 and the festival has since grown larger every year. The location of the festival has been in Kaisaniemi park in the middle of the city from 2001. However, since 2011, Tuska has taken place at the Suvilahti event field in the Kalasatama neighbourhood of the Sörnäinen district.

Great video 👍 Thinking of visiting this festival in 2024 from England. Do you know when the tickets normally go on sale and how quickly they sell out? Thank you.

They don't sell out too fast. For the 2023 festival now only saturday is sold out and still you could buy tickets to two or all three days. If I have understood correctly you can buy 'early bird' tickets to 2024 right after 2023 festival so in early July.

@@Polulla Thank you. We're also thinking Hellfest next year but those tickets sell out in an hour and don't go on sale until October so it's unlikely we will be able to get them. Really want to go to Tuska and Copenhell but only have enough money for one!!!

@@happyhippyd6660 I can at least say that this years tuska was the best festival I have ever been to. Everything is so well thought out and you dont have to spend a fortune to get drinks and food at the festival since there's a shopping mall like 300m from the gate.

@@happyhippyd6660 I can also recommed Tuska, was there saturday and sunday this year 2023. About 20 000 people everyday, but queue to toilets and to get drinks were reasonable, nothing to complain about that. Only downside was when i saw the line to subway after Ghost in sunday, i chose to walk to centrum from festival area, took about an hour, but doable. Also i watched same kind of walking in Hellfest video and it showed and comment section supported the conclusion that is more tourist attraction to locals than metalfestival nowdays. Copenhell probably good also, but i hope you come to Tuska one day :)
