Helve hammer with its first run on a bar of 5/8 roundstock. The tup weighs 30lb with the anvil at just over 300lb so a 10 to one ratio. A bit less than the ideal but suffient to flatten this roundstock with a great deall les hits than it too me for similar piece with the hand hammer.
