👉Haemoglobin is important substance found in RBC. It is made of Haem+ Globin. There are 4 polypeptide chains. Many nutrients are required for its formalities Like Iron, Copper etc. Four types of Haemoglobin exists. Fetus has feta Haemoglobin which is called as HbF. Deficiency of Haemoglobin is called Anaemia. Carbamino Haemoglobin and Carboxyhaemoglobin is also explained in this video

Iron is not absorbed in duodenum. It is absorbed in last part of ileum. Vitamin b12 and folic acid are not required for haemoglobin synthesis. Only iron and vitamin c is required for its absorption. Vitamin b12 and folic acid are required for synthesis of proteins the membrane of RBC eg: band 3 protein required for exchange of bicarbonate ions for carbon dioxide transport.

Mam, I have doubt!! Mam, 4 pyrole rings binding with Fe++ forming haem. 4 haem is req for 1Hb thus total 4×4 pyrole rings req to form one hb with globin protein. But you have written 4 pyrole rings with globin for Hb? Mam, can you explain

Yes...i told in the lecture that in 1 HB molecule there are 4 haeme molecules and in 1 haem molecule there are 4 pyrole rings..so total 16 pyrole rings
