I think we really need to pour high praise out over the band. Now the singers might be able to do different styles, but the band has backed every single song in the show, be it opera, metal, latin or country. These guys (and a woman) are just amazing :)

And apparently the way it's recorded they do 2 different people on the couch each day. I can't imagine how hard those guys are working to manage all of those different styles, and they still perform fantastic. They are really an amazing group.

Henk is a vox dei. I live in the Southern United States and I think old Garth Brooks' head would make a nice wall trophy for the collection. Not to mention... I could swear I saw Henk bush-hoggin' the field next door to me last Tuesday on a big ol' John Deer tractor... Either way, I stand by my statement. Vox. Dei. @@junfanlee2604 straight up, dude. I was totally Floored-- ...I wonder how it feels for your name to be the verb that describes what you do to people when you do you just being you. Although, now that I think on it I've been put on blast a few times for giving a few girls the Gore Gore after a good night out and a few drinks in... anyway, her mamma was a frickin' genius, coz she knew what she was doin' namin' that baby, Floor. And, as I was saying, i was floored when Henk busted out that George Jones soundin' southern superb singin. I could deal with him singing like that forever and I ain't really that big a country fan. And, yessir. Legit as they get. Had cattle, goats, chickens, horses, which i did everything from break to train. Gardens full of corn, tomatoes, bell peppers, banana peppers, watermelon, and an orchard with plum, peach, pear and fig trees, blueberry bushes galore and blackberry briar patches.... I don't actually use the accent unless I'm amongst the region. It's just easier to speak the language than not. I have more of a new Orleans accent. Geez... I think I am gonna go hog the field today. It's getting high and I wanna see how many rabbits I run out the weeds.

@@homere-d-allaure not necessarily. Classical voice training makes you more "precise" when you sing, so there is not much room for improvising, so to say. You kinda sing by the book if i may say so. That's why i think that it's "out of his comfort zone". :)

Looking through this season's performances, watching Henk do country wowed me. And I don't even like country music! But this was such a wonderful performance, so far out of his regular style. And sung with a twang that many veteran country singers would kill for.

I think Henk has a new fan in me. And I’m slightly distracted by his guitar. I didn’t know he’s a lefty. And that’s a Brian Setzer signature model. My all time favourite guitarist and artist. Like Floor and Henk, Brian can play anything.
