To be expected outcome. More horsepower in a truck that weighs 500lbs., or perhaps closer to 800lbs., less than the TRX. I wish you guys would have also done some pulls from a dig to show also where the TRX shines.

How do you figure the truck weights that much less with everything added to it?

@@MrTxblksteel In stock trim, that F-150 weighs in at around 5,100lbs. The only things this F-150 has is a lift and bigger wheels and tires. There is absolutely no way all of those things add up to more than 700lbs. (and that’s on the high end). That brings the approximate total curb weight to around 5,800lbs. The TRX in stock trim weighs 6,500lbs. That’s a difference of +/- 700 lbs.

@@MrTxblksteel that stock XLT F150 is really light(much credit to Ford there). A fully dressed TRX is about 6400lbs. The lift didn't add that much weight to it.

If the F-150 has 4x4 auto why not do it from a start? Plus what trim is this F-150 a lariat or platinum and how much? What's the 0-60 TIMES? What size tires are those? Is there any cooking issues whit the upgraded power? So many questions lol.

@@allanstriber5272 there’s no excuses, Hennessy just made the races in favor of the Ford in order to advertise their package. If they would’ve done a dig or vice versa and just proved different tests and results it would’ve been a different outcome. The Ford barley even won too

It's a 6.2 hemi in a TRX not the 5.7

@@blairbarham6532 I was just thinking about the cam grinding issue on these engines. 5.7l would the super make it better or worse? Worked at a shop for 3 months, in that time had 10 regular 5.7l come in with a cyl worth of lobes gone.

@@blairbarham6532 MDS lol. AFM is chevy, but they all have problems. 5.0l ford has cam phaser issues. Chevy AFM puts to much vacuum on piston rings and pulls oil past. MDS on Rams grinds cams, but yes trx does not have it. I am just trying to make my buddies trucks last lol.

@@iankovac1878 10-4 I couldn't remember what Ram calls it. I know all about AFM problems. I have a 2014 6.2 1500 with heads cam now from a stuck lifter. That I did myself and 50K miles later had to pull the motor because of a spun rob bear on 1 and 2. So now it's got forged Diamond piston ready for boost. Just no supercharger yet. She still fun though.

Both trucks are really nice, cant go wrong either way, Hennessy puts out a quality product. But You notice they wont even attempt to race from a dead stop, that trx will dust that truck off the line, trx has tons of low end power, by the time that ford reaches its power band its lights out.

They are making the Raptor R which is slated to hit the road next year with the same 5.2L Supercharged V8 used in the Shelby GT500 Mustang. I suspect that will be faster than the TRX in just about every measure.

I'll be interested in a race between the Raptor R verses the TRX. Once that one is out of the way, the 800, 900 and 1,000 horse power versions head to head. One thing you don't see on these video's is the Ford interior doesn't come close to the TRX interior. The fit and finish on the TRX is superior to anything Ford presently builds.

Though Ram has better interiors than Ford Trucks.. to be fair the TRX is the top trim and this truck is ford’s second to last trim the XLT which is usually for working trucks .. u would have to compare it with a limited

Highly modded? All they did was throw a supercharger on just like the trx does. Also 1.5l more on the trx. So it's even after all. Fords engines just make better power

Don’t forget to mention that the TRX is governed at 117 top speed. The F150 is pulling away cause it is tuned and govern is off.
