This car takes American V8 on an entirely different level for me. I thought the Trio from Dodge, Ford and Chevy all sounded nice in their own respects, but oh man when I heard the f5 roar I was immediately in love! Everything about that car screams masterpiece and I definitely hope to have the chance to maybe get one someday!

Something about this video! It was so fun to watch and all the different fun cuts to the different aspects of the cars were awesome! This was an awesome video! Matt has really improved as time has gone on. The review of the car overall was awesome, fun to watch, and helped you feel the car, and his emotions were so real!

Yeah that's because it drinks the fuel so fast, the fuel equates to zero pounds in the final wet weight of the vehicle.

The oil temp holds steady at around 200 degrees... That is incredible considering how fast it was moving. My Porsche would’ve jumped up to 220 immediately!

@@Zeil_tha_dragon you clearly haven't been keeping up with the news. SSC has the fastest 2 way average independently verified. Racelogic stands by them. Then they followed up by going 295 MILES AN HOUR in a short 2.3 miles. Facts don't lie. Chiron is not even in the same league

@@joshuathomas512 Yeah neither of these cars are PRODUCTION cars. So its easy to pile on the power and speed when you never have to care about having to pass a crash test or emissions certificate. Which a dragster-tuned Corvette engine will never pass. Same witht the SSC. Kit-car number plates. Then nobody asks questions. They have exactly ZERO airbags. because they were never built to be production cars with real numberplates.

Doubt it is 1817 bhp by the SAE J1349 standard. And I doubt it will weigh in at what he claims. Hennessey is not exactly known for being and honest and stand-up guy.

Highest boost I saw was 17 for a split second. But saw a lot at 16. I bet it's designed to be around 30psi. So, there is a lot more HP in it to be released. Probably the tune is limiting boost till they test it and to keep journalists from tossing it into the woods. lol That weight is crazy. The huge sills are usually for strength and rigidity on other cars.

Noticed that too. It could be traction control/ECU limiting power in lower gears to prevent wheel spin. However, I suspect this example has been running in a reduced power setting for the press junket/testing. Notably in the 272 mph run it seems to lose a lot of steam after 230 compared to the Tuatura or Chiron which I thought was odd. Seeing the boost levels clearly in this though I think confirms it's being run detuned still. It *is* a prototype, afterall.

@@aliyousuf2342 the car wasn’t attempting a top speed run in that 271.6mph video They were just testing the overall suspension on the car if it can handle going over 250mph Since it’s their first in house build car Could it have gone faster ? Probably because it’s just the prototype version of the car, it needed to go to other events in proper working order

4:05 The predecessor of the F5 was The Hennessey Venom GT which was a high performance sports car manufactured by US manufacturer Hennessey Performance Engineering. The Venom GT is based on the Lotus Elise/Exige. (Edit: Didn't watch further on and didn't realize he mentioned this).

I wouldn't have any problem going that fast in the Chiron. In a Hennessey I'd be sweating bullets, they don't exactly have the greatest track record for build quality.

its a bare bones car... Just a chasis, engine and transmission. It doesnt sound especially nice. It doesnt look especially nice either... Its a very expensive kart with a V8 (probably a highly tuned LS V8 at that)

Boost is only a measure of resistance. Also, Hennessey have a tendency to rate power by the very old Land and Sea J607 standard.

For the exterior, the F5 reminds me of when the Noble M12 successor came to market; compared to the previous model, the M400 was rather toned down. Both were specialist cars, bespoke in build, but most pleasantly in the F5's case, it is for function And form! The insanity of what's going on everywhere else is so far away from an evolution in maturity that it has become the central feature! 👍👍 While he's doing his speed run and rightfully losing his mind, two things came to mind. This thing is 'only' hitting roughly half it's potential, and the brake discs are larger than the entire wheel I had on my car back in high school many, Many moons ago. Then again, the discs on my current car are, too; 14" rotors vs 13" wheels. Ha!

The Venom F5 feels like the M600 to the M400. The M400 was barebones, a turbo V6 with formidable power to weight. Then the M600 came around, a full carbon fiber supercar with a twin-turbo V8 and a top speed of 225 mph.

@@willfultrain6779 The update didn't make the Jesko faster directly, it changed certain physics within the game that made it faster as a result. It affects every vehicle in the game. So likely the F5 will be faster when it comes out than it would've been if it released a week ago, before the update.

@@Smzxe No actually. This might be the results. For the 1/4 mile Rimac wins, Chiron and F5 Might tie. For the 1/2 mile F5 Pulls the Rimac back, while Rimac is still on the lead. Chiron gets dropped. For the mile, finally the F5 Takes the lead, with the Chiron getting a close 2nd.

@@Kronos0999 SSC Tuatara looks more like a "homemade" hypercar if you get what I mean, it looks much more unique, including the interior. Meanwhile this piece of garbage called F5 looks like it's made of leftover parts from other cars. Also the "scam" did 295mph without even trying. Hennessey has been blabbering about how they're going to reach 300mph for about 6 years now and they can't even beat their competitor from the same country, they instead trashtalk about them. Though I agree that F5 looks a bit better exterior-side. Tuatara could use some more work in that regard.

The f5 was designed by Hennessy but still yet looks like a lotus emira so im skeptical if its the same story as the venom because its about the same changes but actually a lot more but still similar headlights outlines and taillights

Before I say anything yes to do something like this training is necessary I would absolutely love to go on a completely straight course after having proper training like a dragstrip a really big one or like an airstrip and that’s been abandoned and try to do this with a car and the reason I say I would be training is because even if you’re going straight at that speed if you remake even the slightest error say for example your car tries to veer a little bit even a slight overcorrection could instantly remove you from the gene pool
