Ofcourse people are going to come saying who ate ,there are going to be some biases and also the language barrier in Africa is why we miss alot of gems all over Africa.As for me Maglera and Ladipoe were my favs as for the OG Sarkodie and Kaligraph I didn't feel them but they had a strong message only the latter had some disses how big he is 🤷‍♂️nevertheless we need more of these Cyphers

Ladipoe for the punchlines and and rap theory, sarkodie for the story. Hip-hop has gone beyond the pedestals of direct jabs like that of kali.hes got flows but really needs to work on pen game. If you check the beef between him and him and blaqbonez years back you'd see the same sequence i.e direct attack on the Nigerian music scene. He even mentioned here that they have it better in the east. Becoming very delirious. I'd bet that anyone would think cis I'm naija hence the praises from naija rappers. Please check all previous cyphers composed of basically of naija MCs and see the difference. one thing is clear; from AQ, loose cannon, blaqbonez to MI and jagz it is always about hard punchlines with subtle wordplay references to make connection to meaning, talking about intelligence. The only rapper from outside naija at par is manifest. The guy is dope. I watch your reactions on here and I must say you're doing great Remember when MI said rappers need to fix their shit up, he must have been talking about other African rappers with the exception of manifest. The pen game is too poor. I'm sorry bUt there's a reason for the word "metaphor". Please take sometime to go back to your reactions, you'd realise that beyond the flows and rhyme scheme, only a hand full of rappers outside naija just like Manifest ( I repeat again) and nasty C are killing it. All the rappers came to prove themselves but Sarkodie came to preach to them. His message was too sensitive! I feel like he was out of competition on this one. He didn’t go there for that! My favorite flow is Ladipoe🇳🇬,Khaligraph🇰🇪and Maglera🇿🇦 but Sarkodie message was above all! He was spitting something sensitive that people need to pay more attention to🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🔥🔥🔥

Maglera knew that all these rappers would all be trying to outbar each other, so he decided to outflow and outstyle them. Who got the best bars is debatable but it's clear who had the best style. From the drip, to the delivery, you can recognize what he was doing. Also Maglera doesn't rap for dumb niggas so I'm sure a lot of bars went over the masses' heads, but we know.
