I remember back in early 90's it was total PIA. We had to contact manufacture for drivers. They had to mail them out. The compatibility was terrible!

Me and my friend's first build took 1 and a half hour, we were building together without a manual, we did googled for instructions tho Can't imagine doing it first time by myself

I don't know why but I find something incredibly endearing about the fact that this man is a multimillionaire who could have just bought the PC prebuilt but still chose to spend all day building it himself. Like the guy doesn't even live in some crazy mansion anymore but instead lives in a bloody stable house of all things. Something about millionaires choosing to live basically normal lives is really inspirational to me because I enjoy my normal life and I'd like to think that nothing would change if I was to become a millionaire one day.

Most people who build PCs dont do it because they can't buy a prebuild, they do it because they want build and customize it. Of course, its easier when you're a millionaire and you can just buy all the most top of the line parts. His parts cost over $5000 when he built it.

Henry is the most wholesome thing I've gotten to watch in a while, laboring over a new baby PC, being a nerd about everything he's in. His public presentation seems like what I think a lot of actors actually are: giant escapist nerds who finally get to play pretend for a living. There's something so hopeful about that and I'm here for it.

this bring back memories.. i build my own rig in 2012, watching youtube to guide me assembling my rig. took me close to 24 hrs to complete it. at that time i was using gtx560 ti.. now its already rtx 3090. how time flies.

@@mikmorpheus The Kraken X-2 X-3 series (it looks like an X-72, probably not an X73 since he wouldn't have needed to remove the entire block just to flip the logo lol) are the best rated coolers for Ryzen 9 (I'm guessing 3950X otherwise a X-62/3 would've sufficed for the 3900X. and the XT line is too new, I don't think Henry would've had time to receive the CPU, install it, make the montage and post it in a week) Also, it runs dual memory so you don't need more than 2 sticks, especially if they are 16GB each like I have.

@@brianbostick3715 with the current market situation, building ryzen just makes much more sense if you're building a gaming PC. Hopefully, next gen Intel chips will turn the tide, but for now AMD has a pretty solid position
