People might forget that Moraes looked unstoppable going into this fight. He hasn't been the same since Cejudo broke him.

Aldo got robbed and now it's 4 KO/TKO in a row. Including the Cejudo KO and robbery it's 6 losses in a row. Before this fight he looked unstoppable.

Those rough fights have definitely made him much more hesitant and probably less motivated, that's what a loss can do to you mentally, if you let it. He probably thought he was unstoppable too and now he's been out worked and out hearted it's basically just ruined him mentally. I'm sure he still has the spark in him still but he needs to somehow reunite with that feeling but idk if that's even possible

Cejudo genuinely surprised me in this fight. Was kind of getting lit up in the first and then just put the pressure on and broke Marlon. Great fight.

Kind of getting lit up?! Dude looked like it was the beginning of the end. It was a brilliant game plan by moraes to take the legs away of a wrestler and fast moving striker in cejudo. But the most amazin part is that cejudo adapted and fount out a way during the fight to turn it around. Made it dirty with the clinch and broke him. It was an amazing performance. Even joe rogan said at the end of the fight how amazing he was able to do that. True champion mindset/skills/iq/

Cejudos a beast. You forget about his personality that he uses for media attention and the dude is an olympic gold medalist. I mean that alone is incredible and taking that skill and iq and mindset into learning mma, he is a straight up beast. He is in the 1% of the already 1% of top fighters. The guy really is the ultimate combat fighter ever. 1 olympic gold medal. And 2 ufc belts in 2 different weight classes. Nobody has those credentials. The dude is straight up a top tier elite fighter whether you like it or not

Moraes was a force in that first round. Cejudo hung in there and came back with full force of his own to win it. Ruthless fight all around!

It absolutely looked like Cejudo was gonna lose that fight but damn did he turn that sht around real fast after the second round. There is a reason why this man won 2 titles and a gold medal. I also believe he won gold at some boxing stuff. He may very well be the most underrated athlete ever.

How Moraes was heeming Henry for 1 and a half rounds is insane in and of itself. But the fact that Henry weathered prime Moraes, forced it to descend into a dog fight and ended up kicking the shit out of Moraes is a truly legendary, championship performance. Watching Henry enter that phone booth towards the end of round 2 is just incredible.

@@stevemadden5867 Yeah, it's like Max/Aldo 1. Aldo had the power and explosiveness to really crack Max and pressure him quick with hits that would take most people out. But he was fighting a guy tailor made for him, who has the iron jaw and cardio to weather that before piling on the pressure and volume. Styles make fights.
