The soloists are Plas Johnson on sax, Gus Bivona and Bill Green on flute, and Frank Capp on Drums. Pete and Conte Candoli, John Audino, Carl Fontana, Med Flory Sax, Bill Berry Coronet, Slyde Hyde also on Trombone,
etc... It is the Terry Gibbs Band with of course Henry
Mancini on the piano....

Es la clásica "antes era mejor". Las series animadas de hoy también cuentan con sobresalientes bandas sonoras e historias más profundas. Otra cosa; ¿a qué le dices "más realismo"? Claramente ahí suceden cosas de lo más chuscas y sin sentido. No está siendo objetivo, señor. A mí también me gustan las caricaturas antiguas, pero los gustos son subjetivos y su opinión solo se basa en el pensamiento empírico y no en el crítico.

Esa cancion no fue compuesta para el dibujo animado, Pedro para la pelicula "La Pantera Rosa" que vino antes de la caricatura. Trata acerca del detective Jacques Closeau resolviendo el robo de una joya llamada La Pantera Rosa. Al inicio de la pelicula, en los creditos iniciales, utilizan una animacion de una Pantera rosada y de ahi esa animacion fue utilizada para la serie de caricaturas junto a la cancion

@@Wics83 lo sé, solo he mencionado que fue utilizada en los dibujos y que muchos niños, entre ellos yo, crecieron escuchando buena música gracias a esa serie que se repetía a menudo en las televisiones. Después de la película, se creó la serie pero nadie infantilizó la música, algo por lo que estoy muy agradecida.

@@RUfromthe40s Metal isn't a group of instruments either, it like jazz is a genre, Saxophone is woodwind, trumpet, trombone etc is brass. The pink panther theme is Jazz, I listen to a lot of Jazz, and Wikipedia agrees with me en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pink_Panther_Theme so not only do you need to learn your instrument families, you need to learn your genres too.

Way back in my senior year of high school, our jazz band played this number multiple times. As the lead tenor sax player, I never had any trouble playing the main melody lines of the song, but always struggled with the solo part - never could quite get the "feel" to add that something special to the solo. . . That was fifty years ago, but when I dig my horn out from the back of the closet, the first sound out of the bell is "The Pink Panther Theme," I still remember how to play it. . . Such an iconic melody!

Russian submarine officer, Cuban Crisis, 1963, batteries dying, needing desperately to surface, peeked at US destroyer, and saw the men on deck playing jaz, probably this included, and knew the war was over, and could surface. Sub was armed with nuclear missiles. I didn't know about this until glasnost opened up ussr records and they read sub captains notes. My uncle was the Russian translater on US destroyer.

A cat that I adopted, a beautiful Siamese, was named Manci, to honor the super successful muscitian. The music and the fantastic pink panther were the joy of ALL of our family. ❤❤❤

I used to watch this cartoon all the damn time, brings back so many memories. What a performance by what I thought was only a few instruments, not to only realize it's a big group. CRAZY.....#MINDBLOWING

What a groove! I heard this many years ago and it still grooves like big bands should. I had to pull out my bass and play with them! We used to groove like this when I played in the University of Alabama's Jazz Ensemble in the late 60's early 70's.
