And just imagine, Jr. first refused to play "This type of music!" He was running with and wanted to play like Sam "the man" Taylor and King Curtis. But then he agreed with Willie Woods, and the rest is HISTORY.If you listen to the intro to Shake and Finger Pop, the note on the horn is "G." BUT the note Jr. brought out was technically slightly out of the range of the "G" note. Thanks brother, and may your memory be a blessing, and as long as I can listen to your music, you are STILL alive within me. Junior, a.k.a. Autry DeWalt REST IN PEACE!
