There is a brace missing in this video. The beak sub frame needs a brace that come with the newer sets. If you don’t have it you run a risk of breaking the subframe.

Thanks for this video, it helped me immensely. I do have Some observations for anyone who's recently bought this kit and found one significant item missing from your video. I suspect Hepco & Becker have made some changes to this product. A heavy bracket now hangs off the steering column using the two bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place. This new bracket provides a much more robust anchor for the bars that come around the front up behind the headlight and are being attached where the horn is mounted. This makes a substantial difference to the robustness but..... trying to align everything is a nightmare 🙂 I finally finished the installation and should have taken some videos during the process. I will create a short addendum video and post a link here that shows the new/additional bracket not included in the Ridge Roamers video. The final product is very robust, hopefully, my wife will not have to test out the product for real.

Thanks for the video. I'm considering those bars.... BTW If your going to beat up your Tiger, Keep an eye on your wheel bearings... Spokes are lighter and absorb a lot of impact energy ....... Less Weight less pounding on the wheel Bearings is one reason Dirt Bikes are built with them.. Enjoy the Ride...

Any idea why some fasteners on and around the engine are Allen and some are Torx?

H&B has for 2024 GT ? I hear the pannier racks and crash bars on 2024 GT Pro are not compatable with 22,23. Things moved around and no 3rd party has them yet for 24' . Disappointing as Shad had them for eyars 22,23. to match my boxes.

Hi, I have the very same crash bars on my Tiger 900 RP. Very sturdy bars, had a few offroad drops and minor crashes and nothing moved so far. The one thing i'm not happy with: When offroading, i wear knee-braces for safety . So my knees bump in them all the time, there is no space. Already after 1500 miles i went trough the black paint where my knees touched and my pants have worn down on that spot aswell. H&B could do with a little redesign on that part.

do you have the torq specs?

I bought the same but right knee rubs on the guard at the mounting point on the side of the engine. Now had to remove both engine and tank guard as H&B couldn't address the issue. Waste of time and money

Having issues getting bolts in front under horn lined up. Any tricks or suggestions ?

I was planning on upper engine crash bars also, but sooooo many reports of sheared mounting bolts and even a few were catastrophic meaning, the bike was total loss as it messed up the engine case entirely. I contact 5 other owners who had sheared mounting bolts also from the upper crash bars...not just the Hepco and Beckers but also SW Motech, Outback Motorteck, Touratech also. One in my same town told me "dont do it" so...man I'm seriously rethinking it after talking live to them. Only ONE was a low speed drop, the other 5 were literally just vibration fatigue from riding down the road (evidently). Be advised the after market MFG and also Triumph, will NOT warranty the bike after it happens fyi. Triumph tried, with their NEW upper crash bars that added an additional horizontal support, however...many mentioned the under beak angle...of the fulcrum, and the geometric/ physics of just tends to shear them, including the upgraded bolts themselves the 2nd time. YOu can get on the ADV Rider forum and Triumphrat.net and read about that happening and discuss with many. Anyway...hope your's are awesome and enjoying your videos. Any advice on the Top case and Top Case plate??
