@@CommonScentsAintSoCommonNow Yeah but he's right about the kids now a days not knowing how to interact with each other. Back then we knew how to talk to our friends and hang out with them. We played video games in the same room. Now kids play online, but they are actually by themselves. The person on the headset is across the globe not sitting across from you in the living room. You talked crap in person and had a blast. Sure sometimes you got mad about losing, but you always stayed friends. Today kids are alone and spend more time talking to strangers they will most likely never meet. Riff is right the 90's where a better time for society in general.

Was gonna say the same: tuned in for a video about swap meet and got an essay at the end about how we can never go back home. I do miss then. Some mornings I can wake up and feel what it was like to step outside my house, look at the grass and trees outside and have no idea what any celebrity was doing- or even my friends until I tried to call them. I could spend all day playing one game and not feel a single murmur of other outstanding obligations.

Riff, as a 90s kid myself, that outro resonated with me SO MUCH. It was amazing dude. Putting aside ideas like the butterfly effect, If time travel ever becomes a mainstream thing and can be proven to be safe without any detriment to the person time traveling or on the world as a whole from the time after which said person time travels back to, I'd LOVE to go back to the 90s specifically, even if only for a day but hopefully much longer and just bask in the availability of things that I miss. And of course the nostalgia. Like the original first few sets of Pokemon cards, Gameboy Colors and Super Nintendos being on store shelves, getting to rewatch all the classic cartoons on tv, etc. And I'd want some money too so I could bring some of that stuff back to the present with me. The 90s were so awesome! :D

I know I'm already a few days late, but what you did from 14:49 minutes onwards was one of the deepest, most nostalgic, melancholic and even saddest things I've ever seen. Many congratulations to whoever put that together and to whoever wrote the text. It seems like your thing, Riff, and if it's your thing, you really touched several points that are very dear to me, but at the same time very sensitive as well. I was born in 1978, so I'm an archaic dinosaur by today's standards, I grew up during half of the 80s, but I especially remember the 90s as the definitive era of my personal and intellectual development. There will never be anything like this era again, from music, to video games, to the physical interaction we had and the simplicity and lightness that everything seemed to have. Everything was real and simpler. Personally, I'm from a generation that was born analogue, but grew up digital, so I've experienced both sides of the coin. Pieces like this make me want more and more to go back in time, even though I know that won't be possible. It makes me sad, like I said, but also very happy to have lived in that time and to have had so many good memories that I've been able to hold on to to this day. A big THANK YOU to all of you, Pixel Game Squad. I've been following your content for a while now and it's because of moments like these that I know how real you are and I appreciate what you do to try and capture those times through your collections. Thank you very much to all of you!

My wife and I have had a stressful few months with work and life. Two weeks ago, I made an old style party invite, asking my wife to come over to my 'back in the day' sleepover party. She was so happy when she read it and would frequently tell me how excited she was. So this Saturday we dragged our matress downstairs, ordered a pizza, found and ate snacks that reminded us of the 90s, played Super Nintendo and watched the original Candyman on VHS whilst snuggled into retro sleeping bags, wearing pyjamas of our favourite cartoons when we were kids. We are in our late 30s/early 40s and we had the best date night in ages. Watching this video reaffirmed exactly what we said last night. The 90s was simpler but so much fun! Thanks guys, that was beyond beautiful!

My favourite memories were going round each other houses playing each others consoles and games. I'm now 30 and feel like with everything being online people aren't truly connected. Talking to people online is ok but it doesn't feel the same then going up to a person randomly, start talking, instantly clicking with them and becoming friends. That Outro really reminded me of my childhood.

Wow that really hit home. There’s definitely a reason I love collecting it brings a comforting warmth and return of hopefulness to my household. Thanks for the reminder why we do this! Hope to bring some of the values we learned in the 90s to our children coming up!!

Man I miss the 90s childhood. You never know what you had til it's gone and it's really sad to know that nothing will come close to the 90s and so many generations are missing out on something that was truly special.

Your description of the 90s sounds a lot like the 80s to me. In the 90s I graduated high school I had a job you know grown up stuff but it still brought back memories from my childhood. Thanks to you and your entire crew.

Riff and the guys just get it. The 90’s was such a great time and I’m so glad I was a kid during that time. I think the pixel games squad should do a documentary in this style and take it to festivals, that end segment was moving 🙌

The 80’s were my childhood graduating in ‘91 in the military 1993 and Gaming was more than a fad. The memories I gave from then through now. Carefree days , gaming, friends fun. Great video 🤟🏼

I miss the 90s everyday. Life just feels so empty now. I will forever cherish that part of my life. We all have to remember how lucky we were to experience such a beautiful chapter of human existence as KIDS. Everything breathed creation and art. Our imaginations ran wild every single day. Absolutely loved the outro, dude.

Rarely does “ stick Around for the end for something special at the end” stand and deliver. This was something special thank you Riff and Pixel squad for this amazing video. Words can’t describe what that outro just did for me

That 90's outro was amazing. Have you ever thought about making a full length documentary on this? It really hit home for me and from the comments I'm seeing, many others as well. Keep it up #90s
