How can I keep this happening to my hair since I wear braids a lot?

My best recommendation is to not get the braids as often. If you are suffering from dry brittle hair like the client in the video, then you’ll need to lay off getting braids so much and start focusing on healthy hair regimens such as weekly hydrating shampooing that includes a hair repairative mask followed by a deep conditioner. And probably try doing more natural style with your real hair. That way you can start giving your hair the hydration that it needs to thrive and low manipulation so that it can slowly go back to its natural curl pattern. I hope this was helpful 🙂
