She has great natural hair. The only thing the wig did was to make the hair longer. I too would have loved to see a cute style with her natural hair.

Why not just do a silk press. She has a lot of her own hair, why a laborious wig that has high maintenance. A silk press would have sufficed.

I wore wigs in high school, this brought back those memories. My hair was damaged and some times I just didn't want to deal with it. The wigs gave my hair a rest. I totally understand where she and her mom are coming from. I wished that we had these kinds of options back in my day. I remember one day my wig flew off my head! But I caught it in time or else I wasn't going to go back to school. Period 😆

It is an age appropriate ponytail. I know I didn’t think about a lace front nothing in high school. The most we did was spray some track with pump it up, curl it with hard rulers and put it in the microwave. We wrapped those tracks around our heads and went out the door!

I was a hairstylist in my first life. While this stylist did a beautiful job, the mantra "time is money" comes to mind immediately. From start to finish, working on this client had to take a long time. Considering the lengthy time and the cost of the wig, I would be curious as to how much this visit cost. I don't understand the mother feeling wearing her hair natural would cause the little girl's hair to fall out. And since the wig is glued around her face, I would assume it is not taken off at night so how does the child keep it looking nice? Anyway, this stylist knows her stuff. Great job.

I had an employee get all of this done to her head. When she tried to tell me how it was "sewn on" I could not imagine. Since I HAVE to wash my hair at least every other day, I cannot imagine having it covered up for months! I can't imagine how much is must cost to have this done. I wonder if she can change the style if she doesn't want the top part pulled back all of the time? I am amazed at what black girls have to do to look like they want to. I won't gripe about my stick straight hair any more. I will also watch more of your videos. Very interesting. She does look adorable.
