This is a great rock band that started in the 70's. Ann Wilson has one of the most powerful female voices. And her sister Nancy can play a mean guitar. They have had so many great hits such as "Magic Man", "Crazy on You", "Barracuda", "What About Love", "Never", "Dog & Butterfly", "These Dreams" & "Alone". In 2012 Ann & Nancy performed at the Kennedy Center Honors in a tribute to Led Zeppelin doing their classic song "Stairway To Heaven".

Nancy Wilson's intro is badass and Ann on vocals made them a dynamic duo. Heart is a badass band.

They are amazing aren't they! I met them one night at a little neighborhood club in Seattle. (They are from Seattle, as am I) They were just out having fun together. They sat in for the band when the band took a break and did a couple of songs. Got to meet them. You won't find friendlier, more down to earth women, besides being incredibly talented.

The band that morphed into Heart was formed in the late 60's... Heart came to fruition in the early 70's after Ann Wilson joined as the vocalist... a few years later after moving to Canada, her younger sister Nancy Wilson joined on rhythm & acoustic guitar... They debuted in 1975 w/ the album 'Dreamboat Annie' and then switched to CBS Records in 1977 and scored a huge hit w/ the 'Little queen' album w/ the 'Barracuda' single... Heart was a platinum success in the 70's, but as the 80's began, the original band came apart... Ann & Nancy Wilson kept Heart going, but then Ann Wilson began to gain weight and wasn't the petite star that record labels wanted by 1983, and Heart was dropped by 1984. Despite the setbacks, Heart was signed by Capitol Records in 1985 and was transformed into a glam rock band... They became a huge success in '85 on MTV, outselling their 70's records... but Ann's plus-size frame was a liability as an image, so the record companies made Heart's music videos w/ Nancy being featured as a sex kitten, while Ann was not filmed in full frame. By the 90's, Heart got tired of the 80's glam and tried to transition into the grunge rock era, but the band was not accepted by new rock fans, so they split up by 1996. Heart regrouped after 2000 w/ new members joining Ann & Nancy Wilson, and have kept recording & touring til today.

This is, by far, the best vocals Ann Wilson ever did. They were amazing live! Saw them three or four times!

Nancy has an incredible voice too and is a top tier acoustic guitar player who has collaborated with some of the best!

I saw Heart in 1980, at the Hollywood Sportatorium, in Pembrokr Pines, FL. They were amazing and these sisters are incredibly talented. Ann Wilson, in my opinion, had the best female rock voice in the business. Nancy Wilson could flat out play that guitar. Of course, Ann still sounds great and Nancy can still kill it on guitar.

Saw them live in 1977. Never forget it!.Awesome. Ann Wilson is the greatest female rock singer ever!!!.

You have to check out Heart more in depth. This band in the 70's was so unique. There was nothing like them. Nancy Wilson is amazing on guitar and Ann Wilson on flute and vocals.

"The Archer" a good enough song, but the one note Ann grabs and holds, at the end of the last chorus I do believe, is phenomenal. Definitely let's someone new to the band Heart, realize how strong and versatile Ann's vocals really are. Fantastic group, one of the best.

Heart is loved and respected by rock fans, pop rock fans and hard rock fans alike .. that is very rare and amazing

Hi The Sisters still Rock and right now they are doing their own musical journey. Nancy released her 1st solo album and Ann has a new Album coming out. Ann will be 72 in June and Nancy will be 68 next week. Nancy changes up the intro to the song. Ann may have lost some of her higher register but she kills it.

Every time I see live footage of Heart, I am always blown away by their ability to shine through no matter what the challenges or conditions. These televised music showcases had the usual imperfections and the raw delivery one would expect from any TV music special from the 70s, sometimes the performances or technical problems were so bad they would have to simply overdub the studio versions.They rarely did justice to the artists, the mix was always poor and the perforners were usually uncomfortable with the live 'television studio' situation. Here is a real band and a real singer...we can hear Ann's breath, we can see how she uses mic control with the long held notes. We can see Nancy attack that acoustic guitar with more aggression than any male player I have seen (usually guys are too scared they might damage their precious 2000 dollar Gibson sunburst ES 100 whateverthe fuck!! LOL...) But after seeing this, NOW i finally get Nancy and I am in love, (again)

so good it still gives me chills.........
