Imo it should have won the best score and music award. Not just because of old gods of asgard. The chapter songs are also pretty good.

⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠@@zackfair6791The soundtrack for Alan Wake 2 is really good but Soken deserved it. So much variation in the Final Fantasy XVI soundtrack. From epic operatic pieces like Away and Find the Flame, techno beats like Hamartia and Heart of Stone plus emotional moments like Not Alone and Horizons. Plus that incredible final boss theme All as One and the beautiful My Star that makes me cry every single time. That soundtrack had it all!

@@edwardhulse I think i would rather have FF16 take the best performance award. Nothing against Neil Newbon, but Ben Starr killed it in FF16, and the character he played was better.

@@bunnytails I wrote this on a completely different video but worth sharing: "Hey! I can actually confirm he is the nicest guy from the gaming industry I've ever met. And I've met a few, Gabe Newell was about as socially awkward as you'd expect, he was nice though, but Sam Lake was a gem, showed us around the studio in Finland, that's while they were making what would become American Nightmare. Maybe not so much now, but back then you could show up at their studio and they would give you a tour, I think given their recent success they might change that rule."

You could see the unbridled joy on Sam's face, you could just see he was having the time of his life, and honestly who could blame him? He had to fight to keep the sequence in the game and it's gone on to become a pop culture phenomenon

It would have been a crime to cut this sequence from the game. It literally made my day. I was so in awe I was just standing around watching, lol didn't even notice the Taken coming at me.

Poets of the Fall are by far my favourite band. Their music is super detailed and varied in style. Their normal stuff is even better than the things they do as Old Gods.
