Perhaps Saber tooth/Smiledon/Cave Lion before The Famous Land bridge melted away The American Lion and African Lion often traveled back and forward between Land Masses. To Me Possible Neman Lion Cave Lion or Saber Tooth remember the word Saber tooth is slightly New, the old world probably considered to Be Lion's.
