In USA they closed all the schools and work and all the restrants and bars and concerts and movies and trash cleanups. The only thing you can do is get grocherys and gas and take out food. So we can still get pizza and buffalo wings and chineese food only to go.

@@greenlawnfarm5827 thanks, here schools are still open, but people who are over 70, have underlying health conditions have been told to self isolate for 12 weeks. I work in a school but I'm also a carer so I have to self isolate and work from home. It's very strange.

Brushing water along the edges of the pot helps to not get sugarcrystals in the mix that will start a chain reaction and make the whole batch crystallize.

Yo Joe! I bet you could come up with a board of some sort that the cranberries can be shaken into as perfectly portioned, then the bottom slips out and the cranberries perfectly fall into each of the holes of the creams. Probably would work for raisins too.

As always you guy's are amazing. Making candy makes people happy. Don't change anything that you do. You are all fabulous people who are respectful of others and just being yourselves is a great mix. Nanny Rita has been chocolate covering oreos and now pretzels....Ellie May and Macie don't even need my help these days. They also love watching your new creations and I have got some saving to do this year, they want some Hercules Candy for birthday and Christmas!!....I may even have enough to get myself something. All I have to do is choose from your amazing products, that is almost impossible to make a choice....maybe I should just try one of everything!!! Try mixing just a little corn starch in with the cranberry's, it will coat them and separate and make them less sticky, so they are easier to handle.

when I use dried fruits I always separate the batch I'm gonna use beforehand, saves some time. Takes a very long while for them to stick back together, too. They probably just clump up during transportation because they're all mushed up together. Most brands actually put a tiny amount of oil on them to prevent sticking already so once you separate them they're fine.

18:00 my suggestion is an angled bottom on the starch box. so the loose starch falls to the front. then Max does not have to look for it across the entire bottom.

My dad lost his left ring finger above the knuckle, in a farming accident when he was 8. He was running the machine that takes feed corn off the cob, one was stuck so he tried to push it in and there it went. He had been warned against this. (1936). So anyway, when we were little, he'd put the stump up his nose and say,"My brain itches!" It looked like it was all the way up there! When he and my mom were first dating, he put his hands together with his fingers interwoven with his fingers to the inside of his palms. "Count the fingers from the outside. Now count the fingers from the inside." After a couple of times she didn't get it so he showed her. She freaked! She couldn't hold that hand for a month!!! He showed that losing a finger can be fun!

Hi everybody! In regards to the cream depressions in the middle of the tray not bring formed properly, if I recall correctly, watching Steve do it, he put his hand on top of the smile of the form when he was pressing down with the lever. I think that helped form the ones in the middle better. The form may be bowed a bit, which is why he did that.

This was the first Hercules Candy video that I saw! Hearing you talk about the basement made me go right back and watch from the beginning. Today I reached this point again and rewatched it. Looks like I’m nearly caught up. The difference is astounding. From Terry and Steve in the basement, Max first helping out then going on to learn candy making. The buying of the first enrobing machine (Max and Steve doing it together). Now look at Max go! The business growing and all the new staff, it’s fantastic. Well done to everyone but most of all Craig. I know when I get to the most recently posted video I will be gutted that I can’t binge watch the way I have been and will have to patiently wait for each new video.🤦‍♀️

Dunno if you will see this, I'm an hour late, which is unforgivable but I have been thinking on your fluff cup dilemma. Have dad craft a starch board (for the press) in silver dollar sized circles, melt fluff, drop fluff into the molds, let firm back up then place the disks into the bottom of the chocolate shells?
