I really wanted this truck when I was looking for a new vehicle a few months ago but for almost 80,000 I would have preferred to get a new Cadillac ct5-v series or something. So I settled with getting a new 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and I really enjoy it. Not the fastest truck, not the biggest truck, but I love the look of it and i don’t have to worry about getting it to last 300,000 miles

People are talking shit about the V6 yet it’s the same engine that one Le Mans in the GTE class. Also, a twin turbo V6 that sounds like a WWII plane, a dirt bike and a rotary engine had a baby. Awesome sound. The fact that people don’t understand why the V6 was used instead of a V8, long story short, it’s lighter, equal in power, smaller which all adds up to it being faster and more aerodynamic. It’s not like they could possibly fit a 6.0L V8 in a tiny engine bay

It's 450 from a 3.5 litter not a big super charged v8 that gets crappy gas milage all the time.and its 500 ft lbs of torque less then 300 difference from the trx.and again from a 3.5 liter v6 that gets better gas milage then a supercharged v8. But the safest part is if ford did a turbo engine the same size as the trx it would pass all over it and last alot longer then any thing dodge or ram whatever same garabge could ever hope to.

Raptor is overpriced for what you get. Fox shocks 2k at most for all 4 corners. Or you can upgrade and get actual pre runner shocks with 20 inches of travel for 14k for 4 corners and get a front diff with the electronic locker off a wrecked raptor for roughly 500-1.5k. Tune and some extras to get over the 500+ hp hump. And base model truck for 30k. Still well under the retail of a raptor and now out perform in every aspect. If you want a luxury truck just get the limited or king ranch. If you want a Baja truck. Build it your self.

Keep in mind that the ecoboost V6 beats out every competitor of its time in horsepower, torque, and gas mileage in many respects. It took a supercharged pushrod V8 to even compete 🤷‍♀️

A truck speed limit on a highway does not apply to pickup trucks bc simply, they arent trucks. Basically anything that can be driven by a normal person with a Class E license is not a truck

A 6.7 powerstroke I believe is only offered in the 250 and up because it's a bigger engine for bigger hauling capacity. Those most definitely do NOT cost 44K or really anywhere near it. Ford is not good with prices

@@HierarchyOfWeeds yeah Ford is pretty stingy. I much prefer Dodge, you get more hang for your buck and Dodge just has more powerful engines all around in general. The Demon had a 7.1 litre and put it to good use. It was the fastest accelerating production car in history when it came out in 2018. 0-60 in 2.4 seconds or so. I've never seen Ford be able to pull that off.

@Wes Tried you mean a few had issues leaking lmao just like any other engine has issues when they aren’t maintained properly. You can go to any copart and find totaled f150s with the 3.5 and about 250k on the clock and they run no issues. They’ll out tow a Hemi and are actually pretty reliable IF you take care of them. The eco boost is a great engine lol y’all just have the V6 I get it lol
