The last thing a very hungover (still drunk) Kayleigh needs is Stinky Ray getting in the car for a lift to work.
Peter Kay and Sian Gibson star as assistant manager John Redmond and promotions rep Kayleigh Kitson in this comedy series. Working together at an out-of-town supermarket, they are given a company car, but it comes with one condition: They have to share rides together. Without a choice in the matter, the pair are forced to get to know each other during their daily commute. Will they get along from one day to the next? The drama unfolds as John and Kayleigh deal with quirks like lateness and forgetfulness.

Crying with laughter. 'I'm a lyrical dance flop' was pure gold. Genuinely felt sorry for Peter, trying to hold it together. British comedy at it's very best.

I can’t believe I only discovered Reece and Steves shows years after seeing him in this. League of gentlemen, Psychoville and currently watching Inside no 9 right now. The funniest and just pure genius shows ever written. I always wondered why this guy was so good in car share and why Peter Kay chose him he’s fantastic.

Like a bunch of other people commenting here, whenever I need my spirits lifted, I comes and watch this video! It is interesting to see Kay the director too - instructing Reece to emphasize "boom time" like that. By the way, when Reece speaks Japanese, the English subtitles are "inika ashimono ikadara," which, according to Google Translate means "Something, foot, raft, etc." And always remember..."refrigerate my ass...."

He toys with them like a cat with a ball of twine. Once he's established early control he then cripples them with perfect comedy. They were so lucky to get this pure comedy on tap for as long as Reece decided was necessary. The art of the craft to take 2 talented comedy actors hostage is lovely to watch.
