@@robyntheslytherin so if Tom Felton grew up in America but still had his own voice, he’d be pronouncing “Potter” the same way he does now? And I never said people from [insert area] all speak exactly the same way. All I said was “accent”. It sounds like he has one of the MANY accents that can be found in the south of England. Your voice doesn’t affect your pronunciation, your accent does. Then there’s also speech pattern (or whatever name has already been given to this) in which you speak like either a roadman, a posh man, or somewhere in the middle.
