A wilderness mini-doc about the nature of civilization and the contrast it presents to wilderness in the view of HS senior, Tony Renzema. directed and produced by Tony Renzema, mentored by Taggart Siegel and Jack Hoiland.
(A Portland Waldorf HS senior project film.)
The wilderness is alive with earthen nature, a force so opposite and delicate compared to the intricacies of human nature that it has fallen to society throughout history. its a world that has been subjected to the power of humanity, but its the parts that have been left alone that has the greatest impact. This film explores that relationship through my lens, and my experiences, which presented me with my philosophies and ideas, and should be used for inspiration only.
This film is the culmination of my senior project at PWHS, and I am proud to be able to share it with so many wonderful thinking people, and to spread my love of the wild with anyone and everyone, in the hopes that they might feel inspired to experience it for themselves.
Thank you to my mentors, and my guide through this process, and thank you to my family for keeping me humble.
enjoy!
