This song brings me to tears every time I hear it. I cannot even sing it in church anymore because of my emotions. This rendition is no exception, as I am in tears writing this comment. As a retired emergency department/trauma nurse, I brought my faith and religion with me to work everyday. There were many times that I literally washed the feet of the poor and downtrodden because of the deplorable conditions they lived in. Similarly, good people get into trouble by no fault of their own. I was but a vehicle for God's love when I cared for patients. Thank you for placing this video online.

We just got a new priest at our church this week. This song is so fitting for the occasion. Change is never easy, but to have this song play at his first weekend masses here just hit differently.

Whenever I hear this I think of my husband looking up and saying: "Here I am Lord" as he finished his tour in Vietnam and decided to go into the mission field in India. He spent 13 years there teaching the people he loved so much and planting churches and schools so they could go teach others.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and one of my favorite hymns of all time ... And yes it will make you weep.

If it makes you cry... that's not a bad thing. It touches you that deeply. Best compliment you can pay God and the music that provides such emotion. Throw your hands in the air sing at the top of your lungs and cry God's got you wrapped up!

Absolutely gorgeous arrangement. Raised Catholic, the song has been a part of my sacred music history. I was ordained an interfaith minister in St. John the Divine Cathedral years ago, and this song was included in the interfaith ceremony. This is just lovely.

Hell yes! I love being Catholic! Prayers to all who contributed to this and in honor of those dedicated to 🙏 Beautiful. As a very young child one of my fondest memories that would stir something within me, was this song. It's like I'm still between my parents in the pew, being the youngest of my siblings, even though they are gone now. Thank you for that memory.

I heard this song as a teenager at a retreat being a Methodist kid as a guest to my Catholic friends. I remember being stunned at the words of this song. I found this beautiful rendition on Christmas Day looking for music to listen to. Thank you all for this. I heard it new again today, as stunning as when I first heard it.

I can never have enough of this song. It's been over 2years since the lock down when I first heard this song. Each time I listen it's like God talking to me personally and I responding. God bless you all.
