Hello everyone, today I'll be showing you this 2012 Lexus RX350 FWD. We see so many of these on the road here in America, but why do so many women pick to drive this car? Here's a few of my thoughts on this subject!

Vehicles filmed at Dealerships are For Sale. Make sure to visit the dealerships website for detail info about each vehicle. If your watching a video thats older than 90 days you can expect that vehicle to most likely already being sold, unless its a new car.
FYI - Charleston Car Videos on KZfaq Started in 2011. Back in 2008 is when I started filming cars as a car salesman to give people a better way to see a new or used vehicle. Over the years I ended up selling over 450 vehicles from doing videos. Today 1000's of vehicles have sold from people watching my car reviews in America.

I’m a dude and I recently inherited my wife’s 2012 RX350. I had to sell my 2015 VW CC r-line manual after we had our third child. I loved that car, but putting kids in the back was a disaster. Ive always been a drivers car guy so taking my wife’s cream puff Lexus was a sad day......I thought. I used to drive it on road trips, but that’s about it. Driving it every day now has opened my eyes. It is supremely comfortable. It doesn’t offend in any way really. Good power, brakes, tech (for a 2012), and styling. I will probably only have it for a few more years, but mine still looks amazing and is holding up very well at 109,000 miles now. Zero mechanical failures as well. Great car for anyone really and they are super reliable. There’s I guy review for ya!

Most people don't know that the Lexus RX 350 is THE safest car in the United States. To date not one person has ever been killed in an accident. No other car can claim that. Furthermore, it's reliability is unmatched. That's a matter of record as well. With proper upkeep they are designed to drive past 300,000 miles. I don't even own one but you can bet getting one is on my bucket list.

Hey! I'm a married guy and LOVE my 2012 RX350. My wife drives a new Genesis, but I love my car. Paid off, 70,000 miles, and will be comfy and reliable for another 5 to 10 years. I can go to Lowes and throw a bunch of shit in the back, OR take our friends out to dinner in perfect comfort. On trips you can load it down with bags, or park it at the airport without freaking out that someones gonna f@#k it up. Perfect vehicle.

You must be talking about my daughter and her husband.Every 2 to 3 years they buy something new. Gen X er's. But they can afford to waste money making 300K a year. I always keep a car at least 10 years and fix whatever it needs in between. I've never had a high salary, but I bet I've saved over 300K by not being a fad buyer. I own a Vette and 2 Toyota MR2's ( 2nd Gen ). I've only bought 2 cars new in my life. Don't like the depreciation the first couple years. Now I'm in the market for a RX 350. I checked those Acura MDX, RDX and seems they aren't as reliable as most people think (Transmission and cheap plastic inside ). I had a Honda Vigor ( Acura grade in Japan ) It was Ok only. Some Lady backed into and totaled my Solara, so now it's going to be RX 350 for me.

I just upgraded from my 2012 Lexus IS to the 4th Gen 2018 Lexus RX 350.. I AM OBSESSED. As a woman I really appreciate it for the aesthetic and #1 was safety for my children. The practicality of getting in and out as well as power lift tailgate is everything. Also I think woman love to feel luxurious... its less about sports agility... and more like driving on a cloud... I am so happy with it.

Hi Chad, Nice Presentation. Thanks. I was tempted by a 2006 RX330 in that year, but bought an Avalon instead. In 2009, I saw a gold(Savannah Mist?) RX330 at the same Toyota dealer My Avalon came from. My wife and I test drove the Lexus and were so impressed, we made an offer. We traded up, and after a few hours of Dickering on my trade value,, arrived at a sale of $20,137Taxes & a few fees, Out the door. The car was out of warranty and had 67,500 miles on it. Features included ^ disk DVD, Cassette Player, memory Seats Steering column, Mirrors. After 6 Mercedes with these features, they are necessary for any car we own. I'm 6'6", My wife is 5'5". so mirror position memory is a must-have. I can sit behind myself if not driving with just a small forward adjust to the front seat. All the features were added to this car, including Sport suspension, 18" wheels, Nice Radio, Sunroof, Lots of cup holders, Full size spare, Lexus First-Aid kit, Which has been used a few times. I have been getting 17-20 mpg around town, and 23-25mpg on longer trips at 75-80 MPH, using regular gas. I've replaced the steering rack (leaks) and front axel Boot failure due to steering leak. I have put 127,000 miles on it so far. It'll go to 200K with no further problems I'm sure. I would like to move up to an LS 430/460 sooner or later, I'll Be 80 this year and really appreciate the Lexus ride.

Hi, I'm a woman purchasing a 2014 Lexus RX 350 F-Sport in 2023. I have an old "clunker yet classic" 2001 GS300 I bought in 2014. Even though the car was old, I loved the way it felt on the road and I really wanted to stay within the Lexus brand for ride feel. And I wanted to move from a sedan to an SUV. I love the litte touches on the 2014 and 2015s. It's almost a little too soccer- mom-ish for me. I am not a soccer mom. However I need to occasionally cart things. My GS300 had a huge trunk and Im excited to move up to more room in the back. The 2014 I'm getting has a bit more style to it than the 2013. It's the weird grille. I also love the luxury touches like leather seats and the woodgrain inside. Looking forward to keeping it for another 9 years and then some. It currently has 94K miles. I also love the first aid kit that is standard with Lexus. Thanks for a wonderful review 😊. Very informative and you have a great personality that comes through on the screen.

Quiet, comfortable, well equipped (has the DVD screens in the rear which the grandkids love) and it still looks almost brand new. Build quality is top notch. I love it's looks and it's a rapid move when needed. I'm definitely converted to Lexus.

Even as a teen, I absolutely adore driving the Lexus RX. It is comfortable, quiet, and luxurious in a very discreet, Lexus-like way. I really like how 'mine' (a 2009 RX350 with 36,000 miles) drives. Aside from the cracking dashboard from its years spent with my grandmother in Charleston, it has survived a New Jersey winter with no other issues or blemishes. I cannot wait to keep driving this car. Despite the fact it rolls in the corners and isn't sporty, I find it (like I have found all cars, so far) fun to drive. And I'm a German car person.

Very well done presentation! I recently bought a new to me Honda CR-V, and it is a very uncomfortable rough ride. Silly me I even thought about the Lexus RX 350, but was thinking it was to girly or even to expensive. I live in rural Montana, gotta have AWD. So the Honda is for sale and the Lexus RX 350 is whats on my radar. I am a mature lady, with a few back issues, I will certainly put my comfort and safety over gas mileage! Oh new subscriber!

I have always kept a beater/trash hauling/rain car so I could keep my other cars pristine. They are all coupes. I sold my last old beater car, a '99 Lexus ES300, last year when my wife bought herself a new Outback. We can't bring ourselves to haul trash in it (still has that new smell) so I am currently using a '90 Ford pickup I inherited. The old truck seems to be nearing it's final days so I had begun looking for a 12-15 year old Highlander or Venza (used Tundras and Tacomas are still too expensive) to haul trash or drive in the rain and then I noticed that many were raving about the dependability and luxury of the RX350. I haven't been able to find the right deal yet, but still looking. If I can find one that checks all the boxes my wife will have the nicest car at the dump.

I need a car I can carry my Model live steam trains to Steam-ups. I worked for a freight airline that carried the Acura MDX ( several, in secret )to Belize for test trials and comparison's with Mercedes back just before Acura introduced it in the USA. I was impressed then, but not so much now. They haven't advanced like other companies. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Hey! Guys buy them too! In the context that is for the wife also. I have a 2009 with 234,000 miles on it. Such a buttery smooth drive and having to commute everyday 90 miles each way with this atrocious highway system potholes and rivets I had to have a comfortable car. Mission accomplished. I also don't like drama. For 9 years of woken up in this car started on the first try every day no surprises. Boring? Sure. But unlike Doug D. who purchased a Range Rover and has had $15,000 in warranty repairs I've had zero. My idea of a good time is not spending it at the dealership or running around with a loner. I like to buy things once. I've taking it up to Lake Tahoe through the snow, driving rain near the coast and through the desert. It's been Bulletproof. Next vehicle I'll step up my game and possibly get a Lexus LX570.

My last 3 cars have all been Lexus. 2 ES(300 then 350) and now my current RX 350. I'm an extreme pragmatist when it comes to buying a vehicle. I realize that the vast majority of my driving is going to be done in such a way that comfort trumps top end performance, assuming necessary performance requirements are met. I cannot see myself spending a lot of money on a vehicle that makes me rush to leave its seats. I will go all in on my old lady cars any day of the week for my daily driving. When I do have enough money to throw into a second vehicle for myself, I will rebuild an old Camaro, Mustang, or GTO.

Ladies loved the RX 350 because it was the smallest SUV on the market in the age of big Ford Explorers. Now these older Lexuses are the biggest on the road because newer compact SUVs are mostly 4 cylinder cars such as Kia Sportage and Toyota RAV4. Nowadays, the RX350 is a great drive for a guy who would still be driving a 3.5 engine with nice power and a 4WD.

I'm a 55 yo guy. I had an Acura sedan that I loved - owned it for 18 years and 350k miles. I finally killed it, unfortunately. I have an 05 Wrangler as a toy to camp/off-road with that was a toy, it became my primary vehicle for a few years. I just picked up a 2015 RX F-Sport last August. I was trying to find a 4-runner, but could only find 2wd ones. I would've loved to have found a GX in good shape and my price range. Again, nope. So, I kind of 'settled' on the RX350 as I needed something quickly. Also, based on a ton of research, I decided I was only interested in Toyota & Lexus SUV's. So, I did have a limited group to choose from. I gotta say I really do love it. It's the most comfortable long distance driving car I've ever owned. Even with the F-Sport suspension which is harsher riding than the normal suspension, it's still damn comfortable. Upon purchase, I drove it from Vegas to Seattle, towed it back to Vegas, then drove it to DC and back to Vegas and then to Nebraska. I have put 10k, mostly highway, miles on it since August. I just had the 90k service done on it. I put a Thule roof box on it for this last trip and it does well loaded down in the car with a pretty heavy roof box full of stuff - on I-70 from Utah to Denver (extremely hilly, curvy). It has no sunglass holder, as he mentions. My biggest complaint is that and the cruise control doesn't stay on permanently. Not the setting, just it being 'on' and ready to set. Also, the position of the cruise control buttons is awkward. Cup holders can't hold 1l water bottles from Dasani/Aquafina, but can hold the Love's and Smart Water 1l bottles. Dependable, comfortable, roomy - what's not to like?

How does the Lexus RX350 compare to the MDX in reliability and longevity in regards to engine and transmission? I’ve been looking at used MDX’s but like the Lexus too. I’m more concerned about long term reliability as I know I will be buying one with close to 100,000 miles on it. Thanks!

Drove both for 2016 and 2017. The mdx was not as smooth and its 9 speed trans has issues. Not that the Rx doesn't boot a software update will fix the Rx issues, mdx not do much. Expect some great searching, lunging, and even surging or hesitation.

I’m driving my second Lexus RX. It’s a 2010, and before that I had a 2007 RX. I love taking this car on road trips! It’s true, they’re very comfortable to drive and just an all-around great vehicle. The 2012 that you reviewed is the same generation as my 2010; so, yes, Lexus was pretty ahead of the game with the tech on this vehicle. My RX has 100,000 miles on it now and it still drives like new! Enjoyed the video!

Lol this isnt just a ladies car my friend, sure it attracts a lot of them just like more men drive x5 and x3 (i really dislike bmw) I had a 2001 RX and it was by far one of my favorite cars i have ever had. I loved the space ship feel it had with all the wood steering and on the dash. It was loaded and had some nice chrome rims with decent gas mileage. I loved it becsuse i could slide my six foot 1 ass right on into it and when i turned it on the car came alive. That OPTITRON INSTRUMENT CLUSTER when it came on was gorgeous. I also loved my suv because i didnt feel like i was riding in a truck but a car ride but i still set up taller. The car never gave me any issues as long as i had it. Everything worked, the air blew cool and i had heated seats. My second lexus had heated and cooled and i will tell you it does make a difference. I always looked at mine as a nice car that had some pick up and go if i wanted it but i could be comfortably when communting to work and in traffic. Now i moved into an Audi Q5. ....

I'm getting a good kick out of the whole woman thing, I've been driving a Lexus RX since I started driving 9 years ago and I love them. I've had an 02 RX and now have a 12 RX. My father has had 3 different Lexus RX's over the last 20 years. Men can like a good looking and comfortable car too damn it! 😂 Also, reliability, smooth driving, quiet on the inside. I love having the interior space, I usually keep my back seats folded down and use the back to haul stuff around. I've always thought the RX was more designed for a man. Big seats, big steering wheel, big ish frame. The Lexus NX is actually the first Lexus SUV designed by a woman. It is very similar to the RX but smaller. My mom has an NX and it is the perfect car for her, she says the RX is too big for her.

As previously mentioned, people are keeping their vehicles for much less time than they used to. The average time people keep their cars is about six years, which is not much longer than the average auto loan.
