Hey gang,
Today I’ll be walking through a realignment of the large Chronograph hand & the sub minutes function that are not resetting properly.
I had to use this trick at work today on a Mavado Chronograph that turned out to be just a small variation on the tutorial shown here.
Each brand will have its own combination of things to do but today we are looking at a Tag Heuer (Indy 500 edition) Formula 1 quartz Chronograph for the purposes of this tutorial.

what resetting does ? my watch got a problem , the time goes slower, I got "VD54B " inside. Can resetting my watch solve it ?

On my formula one, pull the crown out to the third position to reset the far left dial

I believe the top left can unfortunately only be altered via a service center.

@@paullemal4165 Actually the top button toggles to all of the three indicators and allows them to be reset. If he would have pressed the top button again after setting the second hand, the minute indicator would have been able to be reset. It may vary based upon your watch, but for TH it works.

Flippin Zippo Follow his instructions, but don't stop pushing at 12:00- push it once more to set at :01. I'm curious why you want it that way?

Its actually just a half second behind.. Everything else lines up really nicely.. Except for the damn stationary second hand

Sgt Rock i pushed/pulled the winder to the next position and used the lower pusher to fix my Victorinox

I would only trust an automatic with misaligned hands (and most other issues) with a qualified watchmaker. Most people will do more damage from a KZfaq video trying to correct an automatic movement issue than a KZfaq video would actually help & honestly I would probably mess a watch up trying to tutorial that specific one. LOL! If you have any other suggestions on tutorials I could do, let me know though. Thanks for watching!
