What a amazing woman. So professional and mature to not lash out publicly like so many do. Too totally put her children 1st like so many people say they do but don't actually do. She did until she was backed up against against all pretty much and didn't have much choice choice and even then she didn't lash out She just let the facts be known and that was it.. Her friends said she noticed big part of her money was disappearing all the time. No one will ever trust him. I mean he stole from his own wife. He had stolen millions from her already. He didn't become a rancher by choice. It's just all the singers blocked him.

I thought she has primary custody though, so I don't understand why she's paying child support. I also don't understand why he feels entitled to half of her earnings, when they both signed prenups. They BOTH agreed that they wouldn't split their earnings, so too bad guy.

Kelly Clarkson is so incredibly talented! Divorce is never an easy road. I just think it's terrible when a man who can make his own living fights for spousal support when he's already getting a fortune in child support. It shows a lot about his lack of character! Sad. Kelly Clarkson deserves better.

Everyone keeps asking why he was awarded spousal support when he obviously can work for himself and didn't give up a career like a stay at home wife scenario, which is a fair point. However, the point of alimony is to maintain the lifestyle of the person that makes the lesser wage of the two people, in this case, he made less money than Kelly, therefore she has to pay him spousal support to maintain the lifestyle he had grown accustomed to while they were married. It would be no different if the roles were reversed. Some child support is still awarded to the non-custodial parent for when the children are with them, again to be able to maintain the same lifestyle they are accustomed to (it wouldn't be fair if the non-custodial parent couldn't afford to take them on nice vacations as their custodial parents as an example if that is what they are accustomed to). Spousal support continues unless the court order has an end date (it's temporary) otherwise it generally continues until the person receiving gets re-married or dies (varies by state). The amount doesn't change regardless if the person paying source of income increases, however if their income decreases and they can no longer afford to pay, they can petition the court to get the amount reduced. Divorce sucks, wishing Kelly and her children all the best. It seems her ex and his father are some piece of work and have been using Kelly's career to finance themselves. Smh

I will never understand spousal support while both partners work and produce their own money. Like, why should one spouse expoit their ex because they make more money than them? It doesn't make sense to me. I totally understand when someone stays home to watch the kids. The stay at home parent gave up their career and will not be able to make the same kind of money they did prior to having children. I FULLY support those situations plus child support, of course. But this is different. A woman I know was with her husband for 2 years, dating for 8 years. She was pissed when the judge gave her no spousal support. They had no kids and were both working adults. It's just funny to me how people are like "well my ex makes more than me. I deserve their money, even after we seperate." 😒😒 They want the financial benefits of being married to that person while sleeping with someone else.

In the end...... Everything boils down to money, money. Money!
