Here’s how desperate some Toyota dealerships have gotten to aell 2024 Toyota Tundras, Tacomas and Sequoias. Huge discounts and very low interest rates. Between several thousand dollars off (now often below invoice)… dealers are pulling ALL stops to try to sell these things. People are voting with their pocketbooks though… they are not buying.
What would it take for you to want to buy a 2024 Toyota Tacoma or Tundra? Are you onboard with the 2024 Sequoia? Crazy to see even the top trims (I.e TRD Pro and Capstone) sell at discounts and incentivized rates.
Whats the best deal you’ve seen on a new Toyota Tundra, Tacoma or Sequoia?
Thank you for watching as always! Please consider Liking and Subscribing if you haven’t already, your support means a lot. Thank you!
-Stay Untamed…

My local small Toyota dealer has 8 Tacoma's in stock right now and they are being discounted $2K online. May not sound like a lot but this place historically is lucky to have one or two Tacoma's on the lot and those are usually less desirable trims. They also have 22 Tundra's which is unheard of for them. IMO the discounts don't really matter because they've raised the MSRP's so much that even with the discounts it's still way more expensive than 1-2 years ago. It's sad to see what pure greed has done to Toyota, products are way worse and prices are outrageous, not to mention what Toyota has allowed the dealers to get away with the last 3-4 years with price gouging their customers.

The auto manufacturers don’t have a say on what the dealerships can price their cars, that’s why it’s a Manufacturers Suggested Retail price. Toyota doesn’t produce as much inventory as the US auto manufacturers. Toyota is the number one selling company here. They keep their inventories low which creates a demand. The dealerships take advantage of low supply higher demand. Cut out the middleman, the dealerships and go to direct sales like Tesla does.

A truck with possible motor problems with no published fix? Who is going to buy one 2nd hand with that knowledge? A deal for me is drop the price to 15 grand, dealers won't take them in trade because no fix is published. The brand is now damaged goods and will be for the next few years going forward. This business of dropping V8 and V6 engines for turbo's is a major mistake they simply have no long term track record. Ill pass on any of these brands with the turbo's and made in Mexico to boot. The level of greed over the needs of the customer is just starting to rear it's ugly head for all the car brands.

I have spent months telling people that "Invoice Pricing" is a lie. People believe that is Toyota's cost of the vehicle. So now they have to accept Toyota is willing to lose a grand on selling a truck. The answer is, they are not losing money, but still have thousands in profits built in. When you start seeing 5-10K below invoice, you'll then know you are getting it for the best price and Toyota is only making 1-2K maybe in profit. So again, the fanboys are clueless on everything. Good video.

Just went with a last year Nissan Titan (loaded pro-4x in Baja storm) for about 10k below msrp (so around 5k below invoice) at 0% for 60mo. Depreciation is brutal on them but I plan on keeping it because they seem about rock solid as the 2nd gen tundra. I got a lifetime extended warranty along free oil changes for life with it as well.

They are getting desperate for sure. Last year I was in the market for a Toyota truck and they were cocky as heck telling me the truck was already sold when it’s not. Just this morning they called me wanting to sell me a vehicle and I told them I already got a 2024 Colorado ZR2 Bison and I’m not interested now when their trucks have a bunch of recalls out haha I’ll always remember those dealerships that tried to play games.

People are finally starting to listen to what we all have been saying. At the current MSRP, it’s just unaffordable for most people, when you factor in other financial obligations. As I have said in the pass. Taking care of one’s family is more important than some temporary gratification these vehicles will bring you. Along with the recalls that are occuring . I have said it in the past. Let them sit on the dealership lots and rust before you buy one. I like the Toyota brand without ever having owning one, but I believe with these newer models they may have overplayed their hands. They will either go back to the drawing board and fix this, or watch their reputation for reliability and dependability continue to take a beating.

I have a 22' Taco Access Cab and needed to pick up a used 23' Taco Double Cab before the V6 becomes extinct. Although I paid top dollar from an out-of-state Pennsylvania Toyota Dealer, I could get what I wanted. The salesman concurred that they are finding it difficult to sell any of the 24' Tacos, which is why they're giving incentives to take them in third-gen trades.
